This may sound weird, but is there anyone out here who _hasn't_ had any problems with his/her relationship? When i met my boyfriend three years ago, we didn't need a word to understand eachtohers feelings, and it all happened very smoothly and relaxing. Am i the only one out here?

not in my case.

BTW like the signature, kind remanicant of some IRC convos i have been in.

My wife and I get along fine without any loud exchanges. We have had quiet periods of annoyance, but not often. She's NT and I'm AS. She is assertive and smart. We really look forward to being with each other and having AS, she is my one true friend and companion. Sometimes we have ackward phone conversations, but all in all it's been a great 20 years.

Relationships are easy. If they give you trouble just smack em around a bit until they get the idea. That goes double for pets.

My boyfriend and i both have AS. We met eachother at one of my former schools and fell in love immediatly. We just knew. We do everything together, we laugh at eachothers weirdness (as we like to call it, maybe denial? ;) ), we have good sex (i hope saying that is allowed in this forum :roll: ), and everything always turns out fine. We do have arguments sometimes, but after a few minutes we just plainly laugh at the stupidity of them, and then we make a compromise without any futher negativity. And about phone conversattions: i don't really like them, altough he does. The solution is simply to use a webcam and a video chat program.

No problem at all interpreting eachothers feelings. Weird eh?

Well, respect... Yeah, it's respect, but a weird kind of respect. We constantly make jokes about eachothers problems, opinions and habits. And we both laugh about them. That's our way of venting frustration and having a good laugh (sometimes all day :twisted: ) . But if something is really wrong (altough that does not happen much, it's happened like 2 times in 3 years) we can talk about it and it's set right by 5 minutes. We're both not in the habit of shutting up quickly, that also helps :P

But I don't find the pets bit funny, my love for animals far outweighs my love for humans.
