How many close friends do u have?

I am one of these people who only usually has ONE close friend, only one, and maybe a few people I talk to every once in a million years or so. I dont really know why it ends up being this way. Sometimes if I have a girlfriend I can be content most of the time if she is my only person I talk to really....Is this weird?

I have 2 close friends. Well as close a friends get me anyway And number of people who I see occasionally. One guy I would see more often except his wife doesn't seem to like us.

I didn't have true reciprocal friends till around 2 years ago. It was a bit of a learning curve.

I don't think it's wierd at all, because I'm that way to. Just one close friend is enough for me.

I have two very good friends, but that's about it--not counting online friends.

i've got no close friend at all. i had one, but then i introduced him a girl i knew, they fell in love and i stopped existing for both of them along with the entire world...

I have 2 close friends.

I have 100 close friends, I have 0 close friends. honestly, I really dont know. People who I thought would be here for me are nowhere to be found, people who I talk to a few times per day are suddenly there when I really need some one.

I have a two close friends that are married and have kids and work full time, that i would phone from time to time and invite them to do things that we had in common, but they rarely phone me in return and invite me to do things. I eventually just gave up, im not going to go out of my way trying to intitate things and hang out if there not going to initate things from time to time in return as well just because i don't talk very much.

Hi, new to the site and forums. Glad there seems to be a low signal to noise ratio here.

I can only handle one or two friends at a time. Others are acquaintances to me. Right now I live with my girlfriend, so I rarely feel the need to spend time with other people. I much prefer to be alone as I really became accustomed to it over the past dozen years of having no social contact or obligation. Social obligation makes me sad. I get claustrophobic when I have to deal with too many people. So when I spend time away from my girlfriend, I much rather sit alone at home reading, writing, and drawing.

This is also my first "real" girlfriend, with intimacy and reciprocation and love.

Two very very close friends. A few others that maybe could be if I spent more time with them. Tonnes of people I see about and can have a chat to.

If I lived nearer to them all it would be OK but I don't, which is pretty isolating.

Other than my significant-other....

I have 2 really close friends that I've been close to since 6th grade. At some points in high school, I had 4 or 5, and I'm still friendly with these people, but not wicked close with them. At college I have new friends, but I don't feel as close with them, although I may feel that way in the future. I prefer having just a few close friends, and many acquaintances. A lot of people I know who have many 'close' friends can't trust those friends at all and often talk about how much they 'hate' them. I'm happy with my 2 really close friends who I genuinely like and trust.

In real life, I have no close friends.

Online...I have 3 people who I talk to on a regular basis, who seem like nice people and who I consider close friends, even though they are on the other side of the world.

I have two very close friends, three if you count my wife.

Unfortunately, my family take up most of my time these days and I rarely get to see them.

None. Do I care? Not really. It's me against the world so everyone else can get bent.
