I talk to myself much less recently. I'm trying to break the habit entirely because sometimes I do it unknowingly in public and

people don't seem to like that. I mostly yell at the T.V. and argue with really stupid people on the news. I'm a political guy and I

argue with them through the T.V. but I always win of course they don't say anything back but I still count that as a win!

I 've done that inside my mind like from the beginning of time. I think I don't use the 'we' verbally, but I do think I speak to myself sometimes in public...

Usually when I think sometimes it will suddenly turn into a random conversation with myself (which is really weird because after a few seconds I'll realize that I'm thinking of my own debate, and then I'll lose The Game), and would probably become actual words if it weren't for me living with my parents and two brothers.

This happens a lot less to me when there's another presence (be it an animal or a person) though.

Ditto, back and forth. Two or more voices in my head, but they're all mine, just different conflicting opinions of mine.

Sometimes when I'm not near anyone I talk to myself and make up conversations with other people. Usually i don't even realize I'm doing it.

I still talk to myself - mentally. (No, I don't answer myself back). Many moons ago in high school I talked to myself out loud, but that ended when a bunch of kids cornered me and then asked me if I was 'psycho' and heard voices. I've never heard voices, I just talked to myself because no one would bother to listen to me. That was a rough year... Anyhoo, I gave up talking out loud to myself after that, and the funny part was that I didn't even realize I was doing it until they'd said something. There's also coprolalia - repeating what other people say under my breath. I have no idea why I do that, either.

I certainly do when I'm working on something, to the point that others have commented about it.

I just tell them it's the only way I can have an intelligent conversation.

All the time. I mean if you would count the time i talked to myself I would be the most talkative person on the planet. Interestingly enough. I never talk about anything with anyone.

I think I would decrease my talking by 99% if I stopped speaking to myself.

All the time. I also talk to my cats since I have no one else to talk to. My journal is like someone asking me, "So, what did you do today?" and use my pen as it's mightier than the voice.
