Hi everyone

You can call me Karlz. I have not long turned 15. I was born in Australia but moved to New Zealand when I was 8. The same year I came to NZ was when I was diagnosed with AS. I am into computers, schoolwork, books and spending time with animals. My favorite food is carrots and my favourite book is The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime by Mark Haddon. Just PM me if you want to get to know me more.

hello, hello, hello.
I'm 17 and from Massachusetts, US of A. I like to write, and am currently learning german and working on becoming ambidextrous. I also love Sherlock Holmes, chess, astronomy and linguistics, and have recently become fascinated with anarchism.
I'm in the process of being diagnosed with Asperger's, which I hadn't even heard of until six months ago when I came upon it by accident and had a shock when I realized that virtually all the symptoms applied to me. It is great to know that I'm not alone, that I'm not just weird or crazy. Well, maybe weird, but I can live with that :). I would love to major in physics or foreign language in college.
I hope to get to know some of you, and feel free to PM me.

Hey whats up? I'm 18 and I go to college in SoCal. I've never been officially diagnosed but i took a bunch of online test that said I had AS. When I was a kid the school though I had ADD, so my parents got angry and would never accept the fact that I might have AS. They would say I was just being a jerk because I was smart enough. Even though I am smart I have HUGE problems socializing and communicating with others. But theres always a chance to fix whats wrong. ^_^ So he whats up. I like video games, computer games, computers, martial arts, warhammer 40k, drawing, and occasion college stuff.

Hello, it is most pleasureable to meet you all.
I'm male, 16 and from western Canada.
I just recently got an official diagnosis of Asperger's/HFA. No-one in my family other than my parents know about this, since we think that it may cause them even more confusion; I also have another large diagnosis, which is very serious, but could be misunderstood if we tell them about my Asperger's/HFA. I have to take meds by injection for this other diagnosis, so please don't be alarmed if I go on a rant one day about how having needles is the most horrible thing it the world. I have a bunch of different sensory issues, the main ones being touching, colours, patterns, noise, heat.... etc. Like many Asperger's/HFA people, I have many obsessions, which include Chassidic Judaism, anything Russian, history, Mathematics [doing it], categorizing things, languages etc.
I've never been a very social person, but I can appear very social at times, but the thing is that when I get really social it's a sign that I'm extremely desperate for something, and that I don't know how to ask for it properly. I don't really have any friends, but I don't see this as being a problem at all, even though my parents [used to] act like this was [is] the end of the world. I'm a huge fan of Monty Python [basically the only type of humor I can stand], and am currently trying to research vintage calculators.

Favorite writers/poets: Fyoder Dostoevsky, Isaac Asimov, Isaac Babel, Siegfried Sassoon, Charles Dickens, Isaac Bashevis Singer, Edgar Allen Poe, Robert Silverberg, William Shakespeare.... the list is never-ending, but my favorite genres are sci-fi and Russian or Jewish literature

Favorite music: Anything psychedelic, black + death metal, classical, goa trance, trance, ambient.... etc. I play the violin.

Hello.
I am a female 17 year old living in Kentucky, USA (yes, we wear shoes, and no, we don't marry our cousins). I was recently diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome but have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and ADHD without the hyperactivity for a while now.
I enjoy arcane literary knowledge. I am interested in psychology, biology, neurology, environmental science, philosophy, languages, and history. Mainly, I find most everything at school utterly fascinating.
and happy belated Pi Day!! !
