For me a Confederate flag is almost like a welcome mat. I can actually get a conversation going and the topics don't jump around much. A focus on cars, guns and city weirdos is all it really takes. Latinos seem to not be too difficult. People from India are okay unless you express anger or frustration. Colored people and Orientals seem the most hostile to Aspie characteristics. What about other groups? I'm interested in knowing what people on this forum have experienced in this area.

"Colored people and Orientals seem the most hostile to Aspie characteristics."

hmmm.. it's likely the Oriental problem with aspie chars is due to Confucianism which stresses social harmony and order.

And maybe Blacks do have some issues with aspies. I remember some interesting things in Grade School where it was mainly-black and I'm black too :P Didn't fit in but wasn't harassed heavily.

Yeah you're right, I remember problems with other black people, their b***h snapping and attitudes. That can be somewhat significantly then again many b***h about that. Meh don't trust me on this.

Very interesting. I would guess if you quietly walked up to some dude with a Confederate flag while he was fishing and just asked something simple like "how's the fish bitin'", you would get a friendly response in spite of you not being white.

I don't think the east orientals would be that hostile to aspie characteristics, because people over there are seemingly less social, at least in the way that westerners are, and more "cold, or at least be perceived by us to be that way.

But I don't know, I've never been there.

part of that is due to cultural differences, 'personal space' differences, different ideologies, cultures and the like.

I remember a painting (several I think) about how japanese and americans considered each other weird. Or was it Caucasian Westerners and East Asians in general
