Scanpath comparison of two faces

Image

The above image shows the scanpath of the eyes as they look at two different female faces.

The more attractive face on the left has less fixation points compared to the face on the right.

After I have a few beers the girls seem more attractive. This may have to do with my eyes looking at less fixation points.

Why does it ignore the left (our PoV) cheek of the left woman? The fixation points seem arbitrarily placed. Though eyes and nose having large points makes sense I suppose.

The one on the right is less attractive because her face is covered in blue blobs.
