Just recently, I went to the theatre with a friend and we shared a seat between us in the theatre (at least it was a nice place to put the popcorn and food!) because I wasnt sure what her social boundries were.

see, if you're friends, then this seat issue shouldn't be a problem! if she's happy to be there, then she wouldn't mind sitting next to you!
