I'm posting just to prevent a complete loss of wrongplanet as a resource.

I'm Nicholas Park, A half korean-white guy who is lonely.

I live in beaverton oregon and go to PCC (portland community college)

I lack what most people would call education, but I still hope to get into a friendship with someone.

I'm Alex. 20 years old, California, male. I'm exploring the possibility that I have AS by checking out this site.
Here are some of my interests! Maybe we match!

~Reading (Kurt Vonnegut JR and Chuck Palahniuk are my favorite)
~Writing (I play guitar and write songs, and I write poetry)
~Video games (I like survival horror and RPGs, and I have to admit that Pokemon is my favorite!)
~Music (everything from Elliott Smith, Bright Eyes, Neutral Milk Hotel, Radiohead, to Sage Francis, Immortal Technique, and Aesop Rock, to obscure screamo like Orchid, Joshua Fit For Battle, and the Kodan Armada)
~Internet nerdiness (soiherdulikeMudkipz over9000 battletoads the game)
~Anime/Manga (I'm into the more popular ones like Naruto and Death Note)

I'm pretty much a weird (But hilarious and charming) guy who sometimes finds it difficult to relate to most people because I seem to think and feel in ways only a rare person could understand.
It would be wonderful to make some friends who may have similar personalities!

So if you feel even remotely interested in PMing me and chatting, do it! ^_^

Hi everybody.

Age: 27

Gender: Male (of course)

Location: Pennsylvania, USA

I have many hobbies, mainly collecting things. "What" you may ask? Mostly old robot toys, but also books, comic books, magazines, old keys (when they're cheap!), foreign coins (again cheap!), odd things (I have an Ostrich egg, not really all that odd, but still), Futurama merchandise, basically, anything except sports related junk.

Sometimes I mess about with artistic stuff, drawing, sculpting, painting, et cetera. I'm not very good at any of it though.

My favorite tv shows include: Doctor Who, Futurama,...umm, almost any British tv.

I like any kind of music except: country, rap/hip hop, heavy metal.

I'm not certain if I have Asperger's or not, but many people have suggested so.
I also suffer from severe depression, which I take medication for. It helps, but it's still hard to get through the day sometimes.
I find it difficult to socialize with people, it's as though my brain shuts down when people I don't know talk to me.

I can't think of anything else to say, so ...

I'm 25, and from England. Currently I'm living and working in North Carolina. I'm an avid gamer, an artist, and like to go hiking when I get the chance.

I'm not totally convinced I have Aspergers and not something else, but the specialist I saw several years ago determined that I had a mild case. My bigger problem has always been social anxiety, which is the main reason I'm looking for friendship here instead of the outside world. I'm not a great talker, but if anyone wants to drop me a PM and get to know me, I'll do my best.

Hi from the bowels of the American Abyss (aka South Carolina)

I'm a quasi-undiagnosed Aspie... I actually found out when my son was diagnosed with Autism and when it came time to interview me I had three separate professionals tag me with Asperger's.

The stats? Well, I'm 32. I live in a hick town of about 400 people. Currently employed and hating it. In the process of opening my own computer repair shop. Never got along well with others. Emotionally constipated. Big sociology nut. Can't carry a tune in a bucket.

As far as therapy, around here it's a joke. My son has to travel almost 40 miles just to get the BASIC therapies he needs. For Aspies? Nothing. So that's kinda why I'm here. Just to get to know some others. Maybe even some from around these parts in the backwoods of nowhere.

Hello all. After reading "The Adolescent and Adult Neuro-Diversity Handbook" recently, I've decided that I might as well admit to myself and the world that I am AS. Consider this my coming-out announcement.

Name: Sean
Age: 33
Home: New Haven, CT
Gender: Male
About me: I'm a total computer and math nerd, going back to school to get a PhD in applied math. I've tried hobbies such as playing guitar, collecting things, etc. but I'm such an efficiency freak that I can't justify the time as well spent. So, mostly, I'm either working, studying, or edu-taining myself with something that I can consider an extension of the previous two.
I've spent a lifetime watching movies. According to Netflix, I've rated 2025; I only rate the ones I've thoroughly analyzed, so this has to be less than 50% of the total. Looking back now, I realized that I wasted my time trying to find the key to socializing through cinema. Actually, I think it's probably worse than a waste, as I've found that the melodramas of cinema are articulated and, well, telegraphed far more thoroughly than in real social interactions.
I'm always working on absurdly complicated software projects in my free time. (I guess that’s my hobby…) I’ve worked on original projects such as Firefox, Wikipedia, the MPEG-4 standard, plus a bunch of others that went nowhere. In the last few weeks, I’ve been considering starting a project on video-decomposition for emotive-based feature detection -- i.e. the ability to tell what someone’s body language is mathematically. [I’m inspired by an episode of the show “The Pickup Artist” where the socialization expert uses a remote camera and microphone to direct a contestant into social acceptance. Not that I like the show, just that it seemed like an awesome idea to implement since I so need something like this.]
I’m in the process of going back to school, but also plan to start studying socialization from a procedural perspective. It’s going to be a challenge to balance out the two over the next few years. Luckily I’m single (OK, I don’t consider it luck), so time is never a problem with me.
If anybody feels like discussing anything, feel free to PM me.

Hi everyone.
I feel like making a few friends because my circle of friends is very limited. My friends are very nice people but I would like to make a few more.

Name: Sam
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Hobbies: Music, underwater sea life, meditation, Asperger's/Autism - these are my current hobbies.

I would like to make a few friends if anyone is interested and if so, I could pm my msn email.
