I don't know if anybody else feels like this but let me know if you do. It is my opinion and that of others on this board I would imagine, that the vast majority of N.T.'s live dull uneventful lives. In a way you could say justice is being served. They ostracized people like us when we were all children and now they have the dull uneventful lives. Don't get me wrong there are alot of N.T.'s out there that I would not mind having for a friend anyday. However, somewhere in the realm of 60-70% of them I would not care to talk to simply because....THEY ARE BORING. They do the same thing everyday in and out with no change. Now I also have no doubt that therer are Aspies like this but the N.T. is the one that I interact with on a daily basis.

I mean, the majority of them just seem to want to get by in the environment that they live in. Because they are miserable that their wittle pwans did not work out, well boo freaking hoo. Just seems that way to me.

If have an obsession with, say WWII, then the non-WWII things they talk about will be boring by comparison. Likewise if you talk about nothing other than WWII, then you will seem boring to them.

But NT's aren't an identifiable group, except in the negative, by which I mean they don't have Asperger's. I'll admit there are some tremendous bores out there, but NT-ness includes too many kinds of people to decide that they all share any trait, even being boring.

They are boring to you. That doesn't mean they are boring to themselves or to each other. You would be bored (or stressed out) by a life filled with socializing. They would be bored without it. Different strokes for different folks.

I'd say a number of people here live dull uneventful lives, too. But I agree that most NTs are boring. When I small talk with most NTs I just can't enjoy the conversation. They probably find me boring too, not to mention a little "off".

I like Terminator, so I like your name by the way.

When you say the word "NT", what you actually mean is "people who don't have Asperger's Syndrome".

When you talk about the people you are talking about, you are talking about "normal people," not "people who don't have Asperger's Syndrome".

Nobody likes "normal people". They are mean, uncaring (think they love someone but never felt it... ), and talk about Britney Spears' boobs. They even have message board where they ban anybody who is not exactly like them.

Nobody likes "normal people". But I am not entirely sure they make up the majority of the world.

Boring and stupid, I feel like putting a firecracker up their pretentious asses.

I like nut-jobs, they are cool.

We're probably just as boring to them, as they are, to us. I have no interest, in the NT world, anyways. Why waste my time, pretending to be what I'm not, which is like everybody else?

Traits of AS are found to some degree in all of the great inventors/artists/scientists of the world. So I think NT's owe us a huge debt, because without people like us they would still be in the Stone Age.

But now they have become ungrateful, viewing us as having a disease to be cured instead of a harmless eccentricity.

I sometimes wonder what would happen if all the scientists, engineers, artists and others who have AS (or many traits of it) pulled an "Atlas Shrugged" and stopped contributing to the world of NTs.

Maybe that isn't such a bad idea, considering the way they are treating us now.

Evidence?

Have you, personally, done anything to earn the gratitude of the world, or are you just riding on the backs of those who've actually achieved something?

We're no longer in the Stone Age because we discovered agriculture.
