Hi, my name is Nils, and I'm a 24 year old norwegian guy. I definitely think people see me as a loner - single, not many friends (if some at all, besides family) and spending most of the weekend in front of tv or computer, yes think i got it all covered. The main reason why I'm like I am, is that I got asperger but many, probably figured that out, since most of the persons here got it or knows someone who got it. I'm a sports-fanatic, and watch pretty much everything, except from synchronized swimming, tennis and gymnastics, but my main sports is football (GO Packers), basketball and Soccer (proud LFC-fan). I'm also in to politics, and geography, and is extremely fascinated by the country USA, by the culture , geography, politics (although I don't always agree), and many other aspects of the country. Haven't been in the US yet, but hope to take a flight over the atlantic to that wonderful country many times before I die. Hopefully me and my parents are going over the sea next fall, if nothing unexpected happens. Hoping to get some new friends here, friends to talk/chat with when I'm bored. So feel free to PM me.

:) Hello, My name is Belinda. I live in Canberra, Australia. I have been diagnosed as having Asperger Syndrome 2 years ago. I like video games, watching movies (on dvd). I have had some friends before but now everyone has stopped being my friend. I picked the wrong people I guess as they never were really friends in the first place. I don't think I was very well understood. I would like to find some people who understand Aspergers or a fellow Aspergian to be friends with.

Thanks for reading this. Nice to talk to you all.

hey all! I'm 18 but turning 19 in December. I am female, and from USA. I just wanted to talk to people and make online friends so I can look forward to coming online for.

I have friends in real life, but I kinda just wanted to talk to some people.
Anyways, I really don't wanna talk to males, so only females please. Thnxx!

By the way... heres some more about me. I have a boyfriend, I'm interested in fashion, animals, retail and helping people buy things, internet, programming, writing poetry/songs, singing, playing guitar, etc.
I also want to play Mandolin eventually. I had been good at it previously, now I haven't played in a few years :(

i also have a blog .. its on my profile, just in case you want to get to know me even better.

I love art, too. I like dark art like TIm Burton and German Expressionism. Pop art is fun too. I like reading comics. I'm still a fan of Pokemon. I'm majorlyyy interested in the human brain and body. It's so weird and fascinating how EVERYTHING is intertwined!! !!

anyways! Thanks for your time yay

The power of friendship is highly overrated.

hi all, just adding my pseudonym to the list.
i'm 22 from the so called United Kingdom. looking for a friend or maybe friends :)
i'm a musician, white boy playing the blues.. i'm agnostic, i like films a lot and other things but less consistently.
i have only 1 friend in real life and at the moment that relationship is very complicated and strained.
self-diagnosed aspie, i do tend to take things very literally.. just mention that as a 'heads-up', can cause confusion.. erm yeah not sure what else to say.

Hi!
I am a 19 year old female and in college in south eastern US. I am very lonely right now because I don't have any friends and I am five hours away from my parents. Just me and my dog. I am really bad at making friends with NTs but the few people with Aspergers I have met I could talk to them much easier.
I love all animals and learning about them. I love riding horses and playing with my dog or going to the zoo. I also enjoy science and reading fantasy books. I also love playing my guitar or flute and I am just beginning to write my own songs. They aren't very good but I like them.(Thats all that matters right?) I enjoy almost all types of music except really loud stuff and rap. One of my favorite things to do is listen to my ipod while taking a quiet walk in the woods or park.
I could really use a few friends right now because I am very lonely.

Hi, guys, I'm new.

My name is Wu, I'm Chinese, but I live in the US (and I speak English). I'm a photographer, but I'm also studying design. I used to model, and still do it now, occasionally. I love designing, I love photography, I also love reading books a lot and my favorite music is jazz. I'd like to make friends with people who have Asperger's because none that I know of have it and it's making feel like I'm an outsider.

Hi all. My name is Cameron Saylor (James Zero is just my alias, on the site refer to me as James still though) I'm currently 20 and living in Kentucky, the Appalachian area. I really want someone else like me to talk to as a friend as all my current friends are NT's. Kind, understanding, and caring NT's but still I need an aspie friend to talk to. I'll more than likely want to talk to you on skype as that's my medium for talking to all my friends. And if it's too much of a hassle to get it I'd understand. But I ask you please consider. I love video games, am a gun nut, am incredibly nonviolent (looks at the first two traits *sigh*)

Hey I'm 19. I'm undiagnosed aspergers but I'm pretty sure I have some of it because I can't tell if people are terrible or not.

I'm from Indiana. It's soooo boring here..

If you would like to chat, message me. I'm down for some conversation. Just ask me a random question. We can play 20 questions if you want :D

Hello, my name is Patrick from Southern California , I'm 23 and will be turning 24 next month. I was diagnosed autistic at age 2 but I am so high functioning now, Ithink may have AS instead. My purpose for joining this site was to make friends online with people like me. But the problem is this is the first time I have ever done stuff like this (chatting, forums, etc.),and I don't want to make a bad impression on myself. I've never really had any friends, but now I really want to try. I'm willing to talk to anyone especially anyone from other countries.

Here's a few facts about me.

Favorite music: Not much of a music listener, but I am most comfortable with soul and 80's music

Books: Crime novels, Batman comics, comic strips (Peanuts, Calvin and Hobbes, etc), the almanac, and anything interestingly informative.

TV shows:The Simpson's, Law and Order SVU, cartoons, documentaries, and a lot of old programs especially from the 80's.

Movies: Mafia films, films from Quentin Tarantino, animated films, and some comedies.

Instrument:Don't play instruments.

Do you like sports?: Don't play sports.

Family: Mother and 3 brothers and one sister (I'm the oldest).

If you want to know any more about me PM, I would be happy to respond when I get the chance. well, thanks for reading :D

How Y'all doin'? My name is Rob Q. I am technically 20 3/4, but my maturity level fluctuates between early to mid thirties and a teenager on certain subjects. I hail from a small town in NJ. I know an assload about rock music and video games, with a minor in old cartoons.
I am looking for someone to talk to who can actually understand the rubbish coming out of my head. Preferably a woman, as I seem to get along better with them.

I am not looking for a mentor and I need a minimum of advice unless I ask for it.

The other reason i joined this forum was to help others like me, as I seem to be more comfortable with my disorder than most and I felt that maybe i could be of service to the younger generation.

I talk to people all day long and my house is dark and very quiet. I hope to meet some people that understand the different plane I come form.

hi, I'm 23 and I have almost finished university but I find the people in the uni now are too judgemental and in their own little groups. I live in England and I like travelling to other counties here when I have the money to get away with it. I like singing, playing guitar, and walking - especially finding out things about places that other people may not easily find.

I also like Maths and wish I had studied that instead of computing. Maths is so much more interesting and gets better jobs but I'll save that discussion for another thread.
