I'm perfectly comfortable with text based conversation most of the time, it's phone calls I have trouble with.

I also hate text massages, especially from young people, most especially when they are supposed to be funny.

I actually prefer talking face-to-face most of the time. The communication channel is more redundantly encoded and thus technically more easy to decode. Or at least the probability for fault is lower. Only groups are a pain to me.

Emails are best, although I hate the very short and cryptic ones from my boss.

I usually like the riddle of finding out what they want from me. But like with all riddles, it is no fun when it is too frustrating.
