Oh my. So much of what you share here reeks of judgmental and discriminatory behavior.
Yes, my coworkers were often judgmental and quick to interpret everything against me. But the worst and most illogical thing one can do is to consider oneself infallible and to lay all blame on others. In many cases they were right. I am not the most likeable person, despite my efforts.

It appears you might have been hindered in your work. In whereas your capabilities might have been in question and you could have been given only boring "busy work".
Not really. I worked as a software developer and I was sometimes given interesting projects, requiring a lot of thinking. (Very good job for a daydreamer, by the way. Sometimes I would spend whole day doing nothing but looking at the ceiling, to the delight of my boss: "Think, Magic, think!"
) The problem was the scarcity of interesting projects, despite company choking from lack of proper software. There was a couple of programmers in the company, and we had to resort to all kinds of tricks to be allowed to do something. The management was busy with office politics and personal wars, and was unable to do any real work, except issuing orders such as "you are forbidden to start any unapproved work".
