Writing it down to tell hubby about it. I don't drive, he'd have to get me there, but he just took a test and also scored Aspie, so he might even want to go too.

I am sorry, we won't be able to make it this time. Our elderly cat who has kidney failure has just taken a turn for the worse, and sadly, we must take her to the vet for the last time tomorrow. :(

very interesting story regarding this most recent meetup at evergreen- since i'd never been there before, i walked drove all over the place and walked all over the place before i found the appointed meeting room [lecture hall E-1105] only to find that a high-finance lecture was in progress inside, and it most certainly was NOT the aspie meetup i had been led to believe was going to be going on in there. the organizer was not in the parking lot like i was led to believe was going to happen, so i had not a clue whether the meet was cancelled without notice or what. so i angrily walked all over the campus trying to find the organizer who was totally incommunicado. i ran into 2 other stragglers also lost, and together we decided to go into the next lecture hall [E-1107] next door and have our own aspie meetup together, and to hell with the rest. it actually was a lot of fun, we gabbed until 7pm.

Sorry, it's hard for me to make anything at 1pm.. I usually don't wake up until 4pm on most good days. :?

Thought about it though.

Oh man, how disappointing, auntblabby. Very much like what happened to all_white then, though she wasn't as fortunate to meet at least one other person.

But good to know yours had a happy ending! :)
