Me too. I'm in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. Which admittedly isn't that far on the train from either Newcastle or the East midlands (although the latter takes a while due to needing to change twice)

I see you have Harold Wilson as your avatar. I'm more of a Benn and Bevan fan myself.

I'm in Bristol, southwest of the UK. Feel free to let me know if there is a meet-up nearby, as I'd be interested in going.

Anyone here from Laval or les basses-laurentides ?

I guess i just missed your meeting by a bit. How was it anyways hows the aspie scene here around Montreal. Ive always wondered what it would be like to meet an aspie, either really quiet or 2 people talking about their interests at the same time. Im really curious lol

I may entertain the idea of meeting up with someone, perhaps around age 15-18, though I'd prefer to get to know you online a little first.
Nothern England preferably, though elsewhere in the country may be able to be arranged.

Is there anyone with Asperger's or autism here that lives in Michigan in the U.S?

has any one actually met some from this site? I mean im sure i will get positive responses. due to the nature of the question ut it would be intresting to see how many people have NOT been able to meet and aspie form here compared to those that have.

I think that there are alot of aspies that are not on this site. most of people have been diagnosed way back and have gone through all the things that 'well at least i have gone thorugh, from there they move on with their lives.

A topic like aspergers has no end to it and no answers. these types of topics can be frustrating, also 99% of what is out their is irrelevant, and put there to create a whole industry that is clearly marketing to people that are looking for answers. (mostly nt parents) Just like that whole santa thing.

Such a vague topic that leads down nothing but dead ends becomes old quickly .

so i would imagine that most people that are adults go through a short faze as i did, then disapear off this site.

so all we have on here is adults who have just found out they have apsergers ( most were diagnosed in their younger years) , nt's dealing with aspies in relationships.

and some aspies who depend on this site as a social outlet.

maybe what we see on this site and the symptoms we hear are not from the correct demographic of people with aspies. Maybe theres a bunch that just try to get on with their life and give all this up.

so... how many aspies are near you that want to meet ? Maybe alot . but probably a very few that want to meet at the same moment in time you want to meet..

just a thought
