They should fear me, had I the power I would take over the nation and make them all suffer for teasing me all my life. I'd let their bodies fall down like ashes over cinders, then when they begged for mercy I'd laugh and say "there is your mercy" and point to a church burning in the background. Yes my friends they should fear me, I'm evil :-I

I've found I intimidate certain people at times without even trying to. Even when I'm occasionally trying to be friendly.

I don't really consider it my problem though. Those people are just w*kers.

Other people have described me as one of the most kind, gentle people they've ever met.

Edit: Whoops. Threadomancy. Sorry.

Oh God, I went through that... "phase", if I can be permitted to call it that... in fourth to seventh grade. I behaved fine... unless provoked in some way or another - then I went through all the violent crap (fortunately I never damaged anything extremely valuable... the glass in a window in 6th grade, but that's it). Could such unexpected behavioral issues be part of the Aspie experience?

Off topic there. Just wanted to reply to that first.

I have no idea if I'm feared. Sometimes I think I fear other students, in fact.

I think I make people uncomfortable because I am a fairly quiet and watchful person. All through high school people feared me enough physically to not try and bully me. I was almost the biggest guy in the class and I am in good shape. I don't work out but I have solid muscles thought my work and I look like it. I have a thick neck, very wide shoulders, and a comparatively thin waist. I haven't had to fight anyone in years but I think I could hold my own if it came down to it.

I think the other reason people never tried to pick fights with me is that they knew that I have a very high tolerance to pain. I don't remember how it first came up, but this one guy ended up asking me if he could punch me in the shoulder as hard as he could. I said go for it, he wound up and gave it all he had and I didn't so much as flinch. It was weird but it gained me a lot of respect from the macho crowd in my highschool.

I don't think anyone fears me, though some think I am pretty crazy. Luckily that doesn't bother me.

Fear and respect are two different things.

Fear dictates what people will say to your face, respect dictates what they'll say when you're not around.

I've changed since I started in high school, but bad things still seem to happen there too. Like the time I broke a man's nose in class, everyone ran out of the room. Meh, I don't care that people fear me now. I used to, but now I've realized that being feared and hated isn't as bad as it seems.

My level of calmness and flow does tend to scare people. Good thinking, too-- I can get bloodlust when I'm pissed off. =/

I don't know. I used to have little outbursts in High school, and I was a terror in late primary school, but now I'm at college, I am not bothered, and I stay away from people. How I would have loved to have been feared in high school. I've turned out as a calm, calculating, quietly hateful weirdo.

Most people don't fear me because they know that I'm harmless and a pretty good person to talk to.
A few people do fear me (I honestly wish they wouldn't), but that can be said for just about everyone.

nobody really fears me at all. I'm usually a nice guy to be around with, so they say.

People fear me, because I'm a rebel and rebels like to fight, whenever people piss them off. People also fer me, because my social skills arent that good, and they think I'm talking about them. I end up losing more friends than I wish to count, and than my stripes show and people fear me, even more. I can also be a very violent person, when I have to.

People tend to keep their distance when I'm overloaded - probably a good thing, one less thing for me to think about. It's probably something about my wide-eyed spooked facial expression that's a little too weird for them. The rest of the time though I'm not the most social person and I don't talk much, but I can get along fine with just about anyone and people seem to like me.

I'm universally feared, which always struck me as bizarre. People who get to know me learn that I'm pretty nice (despite being caustic) and I try really hard to be human. But invariably, I hear that I'm intimidating and make people uneasy. I've used this to my advantage quite a bit, but only with people who are in the way and remain defensive.

I wish people fear me like people fear you.
