The downside of Facebook....
I quit Facebook for this very reason well over a year ago. It just made me depressed - previously I suspended my account for a week or so at a time and my happiness definitely increased.
Pictures are the worst; you can't make them go away. Either people you-may-have-had-a-romantic-crush-on smooching someone else, or people getting plastered on Friday night. It makes you feel less superior, when you aren't.
You might end up missing the conversation by quitting, but for people like us, forcing yourself to go out and talk to your friends in person is a good thing.
* actually I once created a Greasemonkey/Opera UserScript just to hide all photos from the Facebook timeline. Made me a lot happier.
well facebook is like a 5 star restaurant and we are like a pauper waiting outside at the lobby
looking at the fun going on inside the delicious buffet laid down, sumptuous and tasty
all well dressed people having the time of their life dancing, swirling enjoying
we dont have the invitation to gate crash and even if we do we are not accepted
from so many years that i have been on facebook this is my honest heartfelt feeling
which i felt
and many of my childhood mates have not accepted my friend request many of my
husbands cousins have ignored me left and right
and finally the icing on the cake that my school mates found my comment not worthy to remain there.
