Your level of social phobia is 45%

Few symptoms. Your answers to our test show the presence of some symptoms generally associated with social phobia. Sometimes you happen to feel unease in social contexts. Anyway your slight symptoms are not strong enough to justify a social phobia and there's no need to worry about them.

Your level of social phobia is 71%

Strong phobia. Your answers to our test suggest the presence of a strong social phobia. It looks like you are frequently subdued by anxiety and worry when you think of yourself among other people. In this way you happen to avoid social situations with the purpose of keeping bad sensations away from you. By avoiding others you won't defeat your discomfort; our advice is to face the problem inch by inch, concentrating on anxiety-causing elements and trying to see their positive implications (for example: new friends, more respect by others, better self-confidence etc.). Leave a comment if you liked this test.

Read the first few questions, and it doesn't look that great.

Social phobia test result
Your level of social phobia is 53%

Slight phobia. Your answers suggest the presence of some symptoms generally associated with social phobia. You happen to feel unease and worried when you have to be among other people, even when there's no reason to feel this way. We advise you to work on your fear of social contexts and not to let it subdue you, because the risk is to start avoiding social situations and worsen the symptoms.

--------------

I used to feel more anxiety in some of the situations in the questions when I was younger. Over time I managed to become much calmer and sometimes simply indifferent. By having gathered a lot of experience I can handle difficult situations much better now.

i scored 56%

When I was younger I would have scored a lot higher if I could have been objective. Guess I've made progress...

How does anybody self asess when they don't understand how they feel about something????

I don't think I could have answered honestly when I was younger. The discomfort that I felt in social situations I did not always predict or attribute to the situation - when in the situation I felt like something was wrong..... what's this ? something has changed...I wish I wasn't here but I wish I could stay and learn how to cope and be popular with these people. Oh s**t!! Damn ....damn.....

eventually I figured it out and learned to avoid Social situations. Then it all got worse and my partner got on my case and started making like I should get out more and I'm dragging down the relationiship.

Has anybody else gone this way?
