I've got a 1st birthday party on that day, from 2pm. I can still make it to both if we meet in the morning. Will be a tad tricky though :(

That would be pushing it, I think. Better to reschedule this. What about next Saturday (24th) or 8th December?

I'm fine with the zoo as well - haven't been there for a long time.

The 8th December is good for me.

Who else? :D

OK, so we'll aim for 8th of December at the zoo. :)

Butterflyrose and anyone else, just post here when you know if you can make it.

I've just PMed everyone in this thread, in case anyone is keen but hasn't seen it.

Should be able to make it on the 8th - afternoon preferred.

I'm probably just going to hang out there all day :)

Is it okay if I bring along a friend (she has AS but doesn't visit these forums)? Neither of us can stay past 5:30 so I hope this can be a early-mid afternoon visit to the zoo :)

That's very proactive of you! Looks like it worked. :)

I was thinking of meeting about 11 AM if that works for people. It doesn't force anyone to get up early, but still gives you most of the day to have a good look around if you want to - and I do. There's plenty to see. Tremere, you could probably join us later - we don't absolutely have to all arrive at the same time (though it would make things simpler). Lachlan, the zoo closes at 5 PM, so staying past that won't be a problem. :) I personally don't have a problem with your friend coming along and doubt that anyone else would.

Thanks for the message! I definitely wouldn't have thought to check up on this thread without it. I should be free all day on the 8th, and the zoo works for me (though I do have a soft spot for the aquarium)!

OK, so seeing as it's this coming Saturday, we should probably agree on a time and place. I'm proposing 11 AM as the time, but nobody's responded either so far. As for the place... I haven't been there for a long time, so, yellowtamarin, maybe you can suggest the best place to meet?

Just a thought, at the moment it's set to be 33 degrees, humid, and raining on Saturday, and if that's the case I think the aquarium is going to be a lot more pleasant for everyone involved (including the animals). It might just be the safer option.

11am is fine by me, like I said I was just going to hang out there all day. My membership is up at the end of the year so I was keen to get another visit in. I'm okay with the Aquarium though, if everyone else is. The foyer is the best place to meet there, and for the zoo I'd suggest also just inside the entrance.

Hmm, 33 degrees, "late shower". That doesn't worry me too much, I can still go to either zoo or aquarium. Would be good to hear from anyone else who's planning to come.

I would prefer the zoo over the aquarium. 11am is fine by me.

Normally I'd be happy to come in the morning, just that I'm living out of town for summer so it takes a bit longer for me to get there. 11AM is fine, but I might show up a bit later if I don't get out of bed in time :P
