I have trouble with small talk. For some reason, I seem to get "jittery" and can't keep still, and my eye contact moves all around. Even though I am aware of these problems now, I can't seem to control them; it's like my body has a mind of its own. Also, if I am talking to people I don't know well, I tend to forget all the social information they give me. This makes it harder to converse with people, as I forget everything about them (including their name sometimes), so I have to fake it.

Oh yeah, and count me in as another one who dislikes talking over loud music. I find it totally distracting; it makes me stop, and lose my train of thought.

None of those exactly (for me)...

The hardest thing I have a problem with is talking to someone about their emotional issues. If someone comes to me crying over something that's upset them, I nearly ALWAYS freeze.. I have no idea how to comfort someone who's upset.

And for this, they end up mistaking me as "cold"..

It gets a little awkward when its someone that I deeply care about, and I want to comfort them, but all I can do is give them silence in their times of emotional discontent.. Working on this.. :(
