Hi, everybody!
My name's Sam, I'm 17, and I'm very interesting.
"Enough about us," you say. "We want to know about you!"
I'm incredibly self-absorbed, self-obcessed, and anything else that can be written after self-. In many conversations, you'll tend not to exist! Nah, I'm just being modest. I'm pretty laid-back most of the time, and I have a few friends but I don't do a lot with them away from college. That's mostly why I'm here, actually! I get along with almost nobody, so meeting friends is hard for me to do. But I do like listening to friends and talking to them too!
I live in Arizona (a southwest state in the United States, or if another marker would help you, it's right above Mexico) but I love traveling around the world and I'm planning on driving around the country in the summer. If I had a magic eight-ball, it'd tell me that all signs point to me taking this trip! Alas, I missed out on owning one of them. I've been unschooled all of my life, and now I'm in college but I'm transfering to a university in the Fall. I haven't decided which university yet, but many options do exist, luckily!
If you would like to send me a private message, I'd really like hearing from you probably! I love hiking, playing keyboards, drawing, writing, reading, traveling, and swimming's nice but I used to like it more than I do now! I used to lifeguard but I quit and I haven't been in a pool since then, I believe. They aren't related, but it's mostly because I don't like swimming by myself and laps are pretty boring to me, and also there aren't many year-round pools where I live! So that's a shame!
Listening to music is something I love doing, too, but I'm pretty picky about it so I tend not to remember to mention it. I have a bunch of CDs and I like listening to the concerts which are on Wolfgang's Vault. I'm old enough to have seen any of those bands perform live, but I like a lot of those bands and those concerts! I'm not into drugs, smoking, or drinking (yeah right), but I still draw pictures like I'm high all the time!
Recently I finished rereading the Hobbit as I couldn't remember much of the middle of it or parts of the end, and I read 2001: A Space Odyssey by myself pretty recently, too. Since the spring semester started I haven't had much extra time to read books. A really great book that I read a few months ago was the Inheritors! I hadn't heard of it before I picked it up and saw the title, but I really liked reading that. I'm collecting a huge library of books in my room, so please give me some suggestions re: books!
Now, I don't like to brag, but I'm very smart and capable. I just let my ego get in the way too much! I don't have any diagnoses of anything like Asperger's Syndrome, but I still have the privilege of going to doctors all the time. I'm joking about that, but I do have to go to doctors a lot, unfortunately. On a higher note, I'm going to start teaching a computer game design class next week! It'll be the first time I'll have done anything like that, but I'm really looking forward to it! I get to combine so much that I like doing and actually help somebody for a change! I'll let all of you know how that is if you'd like to hear about it!
The other thing which I've forgotten is martial arts. I have a black belt in Chayon-Ryu, but I stopped training at the place a few weeks ago because of problems with management and some other factors. I had been training for almost eight-and-a-half years--more or less straight--but I'll keep training on my own for a while, I think! It gives me something to do, but--even with my huge backyard--I can't practice a lot because of the temperature here. I have photos of snow-covered saguaros and prickly pears if any of you would like to see those, as well! I was where the action was at when it was snowing in Arizona a few weeks ago! Snowball fights and snowmen and everything else!
I seriously don't have any problem with any of you writing to me as long as your like older than 13 and younger than 21 or 22. Private messages are great. Really the only way I won't talk to you is if you're a pedophile. Otherwise, please send me private messages if you want to! I don't watch too much TV anymore, but I used to watch the Simpsons when it was still good and featured Dr. Nick, but now I watch Scrubs and reruns of Malcolm in the Middle. If you're still confused, all I'm getting at is that I'm a really nice guy without many friends and I would like to know and get to know more friends! Yes, even online friends are fine with me!
Also, I like dogs (my family has one huge, beautiful, and smart dog) and I really like rabbits (and I have one rabbit)! I used to do a lot of volunteering with animals and, more specifically, injured animals, but I do eat meat. Before I go, please know that I think fried rabbits and fried snakes are disgusting. With that in mind, I'd love to hear from many of you! Thanks so much for reading this!

Hi, I'm Kezza and I'm 18. I've recently moved out of home by myself because I wasn't too comfortable with my family. I haven't had a proper diagonis, but I'm going to the doctor to go see about it. My boss's son came to work for our company (which Mum also works for), and he has Aspergers, so everyone started asking "Does Kezza have it too?" Mum actually wanted to get me checked out when I was younger, when my school marks started dropping and I got picked on a lot (still do...).
I love WWE Wrestling (especially the Deadman), and Aussie Rules Football (especially the Brisbane Lions, I went to every home game last year). I live in Queensland Australia, and I want to be the greatest author ever.
I tend to rabbit on a bit, and sometimes my head gets too full and then I get frustrated. Also at work I've been slipping because I get overloaded and stressed. Also a girl I went to school with has come to work with us and I was the star until she came. I'm very possessive and I wrote the process that we use at work then she came in and started on it.
See? I rabbit on.
*sigh*
Hello. I'm Alex. I'm a 16-year-old girl who lives in the US. I got diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome in the spring of 2006. I dropped out of school, so I haven't had contact with anyone outside of my family for several months. As you can tell, I'm very lonely.
My obsession (or 'special interest') is anime. I first started watching it when I was 7 and accidentally discovered Pokemon on TV. Right now, my favorite series are (in no particular order) One Piece, Naruto, Trinity Blood, Hellsing, and Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. I love the characters so much that I put together an imaginary world where I can enjoy them whenever I want. I also like drawing pictures of them and creating profiles for them.
If you have similar interests, please don't be afraid to give me a message. If you are willing to accept me for who I am then I am willing to accept you. I would love to have a friend to talk to.
Thank you!
Whoa, no-one's posted here in a while!

Hey everyone. I'm Nightcry, or Jaz if you like.
15 yr. old, born and raised Auzzie.
I'm as of yet self-diagnosed AS, and come from a family of 2 low-functioning autistic brothers.
I work with 5-9 yr. old children with disabilitys as a volunteer but I've even got a few AS kids over the years to work with.
I love Pokemon, Lego, Mario (Ok, you'd think I was 8 from reading this) Genetics I ADORE allong with psychology. (Current obsessions) LOVE Non-Fiction CSI type programs. Forensic files, Cold Case and the like.
My dislikes are when my brothers refuse to understand that I don't want 12 basketballs shoved under my bed. and when people ignore what I say in a conversation. If it takes so much to say it the least they could do is respond...

wow, never did this before.
'k...name's jeanne, age 16, and i have no nickname. well, my nickname in middle school was monkey...anway,
if you don't know now then you should probably know this: queen rocks my socks!
other musical interests are billy joel, matchbox 20, coldplay, goo goo dolls, frank sinatra, big band music and jazz, classical music, the beatles, elton john, sister hazel, and movie soundtracks(majority of those soundtracks being just instrumental music).
i like some of red hot chili peppers songs but i haven't listened to enough to have i true opinion on whether i like or love them. favorite song from them right now is aeroplane.
interests: very vague question because i have many interests. i love trying new things! especially foods, cultures, and music. i wish to go to hawaii and try all of their delicious fruits. then i want to travel to europe so that my mind may explode from all the culture. one thing that i do not enjoy is small talk. this follows a person, me basis: "So, how are you?" "What?" "How are you?" "ermm...don't know." "Nice weather, eh?" "Yeah, wouldn't it be more interesting if it rained chicken noodle soup or something?" "What? umm...sure, why not?" i like having conversations that go beyond our "normal" way of thinking. unfortunately, some people don't...
Location: New Orleans. sadly, i'm moving to the country after i graduate from high school . i won't really miss the people in my neighborhood but the culture(despite the fact that i live on the west bank.) the pro is that the country will give me more space to think. my mom told me that they're homophobic over there, where i'm moving to, so that might be annoying when i speak my mind on the subjects such as AIDS. my dad grew up in the country so that may be why he's homophobic...hmm...
oh, yes and i do enjoy talking to open minded people, which is not the majority of people at my school.

The name's Ashley Dolan. I'm 18, male and I live on the small island called Ireland. In my spare time I make music under the name "Shleed" and browse the interwebs... and sometimes do an odd sketch or two, but I don't draw much.
I like all kinds of music, but mostly in the electronic genre. That said, I hate most kinds of rap music.
Not really a big fan of films or reading but I do love anything to do with LOTR
If you wanna chat or something then MSN (which is on my profile) me or add me to your myspace or bebo...

My name's Chris. I'm 17, and I hail from southern California.
I've learned fairly well to cope with AS, which is partly why I get to be a drug guinea pig--my psychologist's trying various medications on me to see if they'll help me deal with school. So far Prozac kicks ass and Aderall sucks ass.
I have a passion for drawing. Mostly comic-styled art. I like traditional art, but when it gets too abstract or weird, I tend to lose interest. If I'm not on my computer or sleeping, I'm probably drawing or staring into space.
