Hi everyone,

I'm 53, though I believe I exude youth. I'm not ready to be old yet.

I don't really have many friends; would like to make some. I'm not one to latch onto people; I respond well to what could be described as "warm distance." I like "warm distance" better than "cold closeness."

I'm neither asocial, nor antisocial. The only people who complain about me are those concerned with superficial social niceties, who follow Emily Post ad nauseum. I do know the difference between the regular fork and the salad fork--but I prefer to use the salad fork to eat my rice.

I wouldn't mind having an online conversation with somebody. I have no expectations, no preconceived notions about where the "relationship" will ultimately "go." I just "go with the flow."

Have a nice day.

Hey people.

I'd just like to make some new (and hopefully really good) friends. I'm Andreas, aged 19 from Sweden. I'm interested in reading and watching tv series.

Don't be afraid to PM me if you're interested in talking to me :)

Wanted: Pen pal, over 30 preferred, for laughs, grumblings, musings, whatnot. Misfits, disillusioned outsiders apply within.

I would be interested in corresponding with someone from anywhere in the world. I am a 53 year-old married male who looks and acts younger. One of my primary interests is history; I have many other secondary interests. Pop Culture, by and large, is not one of them.

I have been employed in the same place, doing the same clerical job, for 33 years.

I have many Aspie traits--but have not been diagnosed; perhaps I am within the Broader Autistic Phenotype. One reason I might not be Aspie is because I didn't acquire verbal speech until age 5.

To the wider world, I come across as being amiable and odd, rather than aloof. I would like to be known as a court jester who can't be messed with.

Enjoy your day and evenings.

I could be your friend.

I have returned to college, and have a 4.0 GPA while taking 19 hours. I've bragged enough, though, about my academic accomplishments elsewhere on the site. I'd like to hear your brags there, as well.

I like fast cars, but I don't have time for fast romance.

Argh, my list o' friends has eroded to just one again, so here I go.

26, from Boston. Looking to make new friends

I love (older) cartoons, I love to draw (link to some of my drawings), I love classic disney and any 90's and 80's cartoons. Don't really enjoy modern cartoons though... but I'm a big fan of old stuff like The New Adventures of Winnie The Pooh, and Little Bear.

I like to practice on my guitar too, though I'm not very good, I still enjoy practicing very much, I like to explore creativity through most facets, poetry, writing, drawing, etc.

I like old folk music, especially dance music from England.

Movies that are enjoy are mostly animated anything pixar/miyazaki.

Not into much anime anymore, though I do occasionally keep up with certain series from my childhood that are still going.

I would like to have more friends who can write me through instant messengers as I'm (surprise) not good at speaking.
I'm not very good at initiating conversation either, female friends are desperately needed (as I could never hold on to these) but male friends would be just as welcomed, I love creative minds so anyone willing to talk creativity are welcomed!

IM info is in profile.

Im really new to this site, and would like to maybe make some friends in my area if possible (Moorhead MN or Fargo ND)

A Little about me:

Im 25 years old and was diagnosed with Aspergers over a decade ago, now i cant recall exactly when partly due do it being late here but more so due to my TBI i received as a child which greatly affects my memory. I have trouble recalling information unless there was a strong emotional attachment to it. So it becomes a bit awkward with the family at times when they bring up something and I have no memory of it happening, im sure you can imagine. As far as my hobbies, interests, and personal views go. Im an atheist but still go to church partly out of respect to my family but more so for the morals it teaches but thats about it. As far as hobbies, I enjoy coin collecting if can afford it, and when it gets warmer (ground dries up a bit) plan to use my metal detector and look around. I enjoy playing games, l rarely play console games, because the way consoles are designed are just annoying, I remember way back when when you bought a console it was ready to go, and now you buy a $50/60 game but then you need to buy DLC, upgrades/etc, and constantly have to maintains hard drive space and delete cache. So I prefer computer gaming, I play world of warcraft mostly, but lately taking a break and switching back to hearthstone and Path of Exile. As it stands now gaming on computer is a bit of a challenge... See Link: ow.ly / wbHIG

And I Cant afford to fix it, since i got fired recently, and finding a job has been, unsuccessful. In the mean time I have been taking workshops to try and improve myself. At the end of the day however, im still unemployed and its a bit concerning. So since Im not working, I have been gaming of course but also catching up on some TV programs, and no not on TV/Netflix/Hulu. And in Case you were Curious...

I Have been Watching:
Supernatural (up to Date)
Helix (waiting for Season 2)
Rick and Morty (Waiting for Season 2)
One Piece (Up to date)
Naruto (too many fillers atm)
Sleep Hollow (Not up to date)
Doctor Who (Waiting for new season)
Smallville (On Season 7)
Bleach (Seen all Anime, dont intend to stay up to date via Manga)
Dragonball, Z, and GT (Seen All, Complete)
Full Metal Alchemist (Seen All, Complete)
River Monsters (Watch on TV only)

Anyway, I prefer finding quick, easy, cheap ways of doing things, and netflix wasnt one of them, and having ads and hoops to jump through to get full versions of things on hulu wasnt appealing either. So while on the search for free streaming services, I also found a place for free full length magazines, music, etc. So basically, I am ok at computers, I tend to avoid Torrents and most of the above isnt from them. Only when i want ot burn movies I use torrents, but been nothing but crap out lately, only good movie I have seen in awhile was transcendence. (yes, could have watched online, but didnt feel like it) Funny how theater wasnt packed, people dont seem to want to learn anything. Everyone wants happy fuzzy feelings. I respect people who take the time to learn new things, expand their mind, and dont choose the easy answer. If you cant tell Im a bit of a pessimistic as*hole too, with a crude sense of humor. Perhaps its from what some might call negaive music. Such as Rock, light metal, and nightcore. However, at this point, it cant be helped. Regardless, I do like computers and stuff, but I really enjoy taking walks and spending time outside.

If I sound ok to you, message me
