Ah that would really annoy me MM :? May I ask what conundrum puzzles are?

I'm not sure of their correct name (if there is a correct name) , its how I'd best describe them, There are several types; both wooden & metal.
the 2 puzzles I purchased are bars that are interlink together, now, the aim is to 'unlock' or 'unravel' them, its quite tricky and certainly takes some clever thinking, trial & error of twisting & turning the within the gaps of interlocked bars , no forcing or bending allowed as that would be cheating ... :? great fun, Many people try but give up after a while, :D

In favour of a Birmingham meetup the city museum looks amazing. Im going tomorrow and I believe that they have
Symmetry of Sculpture
Middle East Photos
History of Birmingham
Pre Raphaelite
Egyptians/Greeks/Romans
Still Life
Roland Emmet (Sp?) Paid exhibition

Perfect place for a meetup. Im going tomorrow for two reasons. One I love the sound of just about every exhibition and two I have a date arranged by my uncle and I need to try and ensure that the victim, I mean potential girlfriend, never wants to go anywhere with me again

you should make a birmingham meet up thread and stop bumping this thread.

Is there any point given that this thread is hardly dead? This appears to be the thread to determine whether an MK or Bmngham meetup will take place

Im not hosting a birmingham meet up,

my ex says its too far for him to baby sit for the train time (1+ 1/2 hrs train) as my babies are 8 months and 2 yrs and get sad quick, and he wont go there and babysit as he does not like the new station.

So I can only host a MK meet up. (or a london one at a push, which is 1/2 hour train)

If you want to host a birmingham meet up, you should make your own thread with birmingham in the title so people will know its for that area and can know about it and go to it.

I would be interested in a London meetup during my stay in London between 29 August and 4 September, if you don't mind me joining the event. I see you are planning the meetup for some time now, so it'd be unfair from me to push or insist.

Sorry to impose on your Milton Keynes thread Lotus :) , but just to say; obvious lack of interest due to majority membership being from USA & rest of world combined, UK membership on WP only consists of something like 15% .

All well & good starting a new topic with 'Birmingham or West Midlands' title , but I've previously tried and thread didn't generate sufficient interest for any meet to be arranged.

If a thread were titled simply 'Birmingham meet' , then I fear confusion would arise with the less geographically knowledgable thinking; 'Birmingham, Alabama which is in the USA.

Personally, I'd be happy to travel any reasonable distance within UK, as a good excuse for me to travel by train, and I like to visit & explore other city's in my own time outside of any arranged group meet time, for example I love touring Londons's underground network.
I've had good meet-ups on other mostly UK based forums at Manchester, Liverpool & London.

Outside, 20 miles north of M25.
