Hello everyone! I'm 23, and just joined this site today. I have had some really great conversations in the chat room associated with this site, so I'm really optimistic about any potential people I may meet here. I enjoy art of many forms, anime, videogames, (League of Legends, Wow and other rpgs/mmos) pets and animal appreciation, philosophical, spiritual and ethical ponderings and musings, and raves.
I'm very introspective, and I also like to hear what others have discovered about themselves... self progression and inspiration (and consideration for the feelings of others) is very important to me. Sentimentality and I guess a whimsical nature is something I can always appreciate.
If you have any inclination to chat at all, feel free to send a message, I look forward to it.

On a more serious note, I could do with some sincere friends... I have a number of what I consider to be "acquaintances" but people I feel I can trust or am close to... not so much. I'm uncomfortable with small talk... and by this I mean repeating phrases that don't let me know who someone is. Basically I like to get to REALLY know a person, how they see themselves and what their dreams desires for in life etc. are. I like to know hobbies and interests too, but more is nice.

I'm Taylor, I'm 20 years old, I like to live life one day at a time, I like the outdoors, I'm an artist, I draw landscapes and cities (<my savant syndrome playing it's part) I'm a computer geek, it's about the only other place I'm comfortable talking to people. I don't have many hobbies, I work a rather boring warehouse job but it pays very well. As most people with aspergers/autism have a hard time making friends and such. I've come to this website to hopefully meet more people like me, people who understand me, and getting the chance to make potential friends. I have none, and haven't for awhile. I think I'm a nice and considerate person, the way that I talk gives people the impression that I'm angry or upset in some way, so I rarely get a chance to get into a social position because I'm never given a chance!

Aside from that though, I joined this website specifically for that purpose, I'm willing to take as much time as I need, and as much time as other people need. But I'm also interested in knowing how others with aspergers/autism live through daily life.

Hello everyone, I'm 20 years old soon to be 21. I am currently at college working towards a BA in theatre, which has been a big passion of mine in recent years. It has helped me to be more comfortable interacting socially and has been my way of 'owning' my AS. My interests are all over the place. I like rock music from the 50's-80's, classic and modern country, film scores and soundtracks, and classical music. I am a big film buff and like all kinds of movies from the more recent releases to black an white films with stars like Lon Chaney, Randolph Scott, Orson Wells, etc. I do enjoy video games, mainly PC, Gameboy, and Playstation titles. I love to go picking for things to resell online like rummage sales and swap meets. It is such a great feeling to make a big profit on something you have little money invested in. I have a big passion in automobiles, especially the classics. I dream someday that I'll be able to afford my own collection of my favorite cars. I've already started with my 1986 AMC Eagle. I enjoy going on mission trips with my church youth group and am Methodist Christian.

I had joined this site back in August before I went away to college so I could learn more about my AS and know more about it. I was really surprised that there are this many people with AS all around the world and we all seem to have our own unique version of AS. I would love to get to know some people on here so please feel free to PM me.

Okay, I'd like to find people to talk to but I'm a little difficult - every attempt to try and get to know people results in me realising how I just don't really like people. Then I stop talking to people until I start to feel super lonely and the cycle repeats. So uh, if you can tolerate the possibility that I'll disappear, well! I prefer to talk via email or PM rather than chat clients like Skype because I like to think about what I'm typing and I can get fairly in-depth when I'm in to it. I don't like people who are shallow but unfortunately most shallow people actually don't realise that they are!

Now that I've finished scaring people away I'll talk about my interests a little~ I'm into politics (former PPE student here), video games, wildlife (I find insects fascinating in particular) and comedy. I'm apparently the only person in the world who doesn't really care for music.

i'll be 20 come march, i'm in college under an arts degree. I usually work in acrylic, chalk pastel, or charcoal. more recently I've been into photography as well.
I also do a lot of crochet and knitting- mostly while watching anime or movies. I like video games but I can't seem to play very well, I used to watch my brother play the
ones with the better plot lines but he moved out of state for an apprenticeship program. I like reading, mostly sci-fi, manga, and fantasy but I'm also a fan of history and the natural sciences. genetics are a particular favorite. I recently picked up Gaelic too, though i'm not sure what i've got is the same dialect as the bits I've picked up from my dad's family. I'm from a military family, we have a thing for weapons and martial arts. personally though I'm more a fan of just the katas, as they don't involve others touching me, as strip cleaning rifles and handguns, though i'm a fairly decent shot I dislike the noise.

I have 'freinds' on skype from a minecraft server I work on (admin) but they arent aspies and dont get me (they just think Im weird) I need people I can talk to who understand what we go through. (only 2 I had in my life were my ex bf who cheated on me and my sis who dnt have time to be my freind cuz of her new bf)

I'm a 20 year old Norwegian girl who was diagnosed with aspergers around 2 months ago. So I'm pretty new to all of this. I love to listen to music, especially industrial metal, Arab pop, Turkish pop, Persian pop and also Russian pop. I love listening to music from unusual places.
I'm currently learning Arabic, though I'm not very good at it yet One of my goals is to be able to speak a lot of different languages. I'm also a bit of a language book hoarder XD

Hello, I'm 22 and from the UK. I am currently studying neuroscience at the University of Cambridge, though I'm taking a couple of years out at the moment as I have mental health problems, and not currently having a diagnosis of AS means I'm not able to access appropriate help with the AS-related problems I have. My main interests are Victorian/Edwardian London and the London Underground. Always down to meet people I might have something in common with!
