Looking forward to seeing everyone later! A reminder of the details: 2pm at the national theatre bar. Look for the satsuma on the table!

Everyone's welcome, even if you haven't replied to this topic

Are you in the bar?

Yes, it's still on! All systems go! Though it's in the bar not the cafe (it's quieter in the bar)

There seems to be a Bar & Cafe Queen Elizabeth Hall.
I would guess she was referring to this one.
If not there's the Central Bar located within the main foyer of the Royal Festival Hall.

Hope you find them.

Nice meeting everyone that came today. It was fun and relaxing and good to chat with other people on this site in person. Glad I came.

It appears I've been passed the Satsuma!

HI

I'd like to start by thanking Kate for organising this meetup. The location in the National Theatre bar was perfect. Comfortable, clean, quiet.

Initially I was extremely anxious, as this was my first meetup. In my head it felt a bit like my first step down the rabbit hole, and it wasn't something I was sure I really wanted to do. However, after introductions and finding myself with friendly, articulate like minded people, who made me feel very welcome, I was able to relax.

This was my "coming out" event, as I haven't told any about my ASD in my normal life. Mostly out of feer of being judged, or have it used against me by NT's. But as Kate said, "your with you're own kind". And it felt wonderful! I felt a sense of finally belonging.

It was great to meet everyone, And I'm thoroughly looking forward to the next one.

Sorry to have missed this one. Been too busy to be on the forum much lately. I'll have to keep my eye's posted on the next London meetup
