I'm curious to know what your best method of communication is. Mine is simply writing a letter or email because I'm fluent in writing. If you don't know or don't want to vote, then you don't have to. If you have any thoughts, you may wish to respond.

E-mail work best--at least better than IM, because you can talk to someone by e-mail even if you and the other person aren't online at the same time.

Internet! Phone and in person are both awful. The internet has probably indirectly saved my life.

Email absolutely. It gives me the time delay I need and allows me to be as nice as I really am. Otherwise I'm trampled in the rush of live conversation and have a meltdown.

i think the result of the poll was known before you posted it.

my most frustrating week in Portugal was when i was looking for an apartment. i had to phone to people who published their announcements. i had to do it in Portuguese language which i speak very poorly. then i had to travel and meet them in person. one of my most difficult times in this country.

I find that it's the easiest for me to communicate in person.

At least with the internet I get to edit what I want to say before I say it. In person and on the phone I don't get that.

Definitely writing. When I'm talking (in person/phone) I don't say much - only as much as I have to and it's almost all fact-based, information sharing, etc. When I'm writing I say so much more, with things like opinions and emotion and parts of my real personality that don't come out when I'm talking. People say when I'm writing they see the "real Amy".

I love the relative anonymity of the internet. Only those I become friends with know who I am.

Internet, people are more likely to talk to me (And I them), so it's more likely that somebody I might like will start talking to me, unfortunately it also means that clueless people who make me bored also end up talking to me.

I'm usually best via internet forum or AIM.

In person because the Internet is full of self-deluded idiots which sadly this forum is filled with. Also, I'm not good with talking over the phone.
