I am taking an informal of Machiavellian Intellect in the Aspie population. Many psychologists believe that people with Asperger's are so honest, that it is very difficult for them to be deceptive, cunning and charismatic. However, I seem to not fit that mold, my Machiavellian Intelligence Score is 89/100 or in Academic terms B+/A-. I used to be way too honest, however over the years I have become quite skilled at deception and charisma. I am certainly not a pathological liar and/or con artist like someone with Antisocial Personality Disorder, but I am a very good liar when the situation calls for it.

-35-

I do tend to be honest and trusting along with not saying the right thing and gullible.

63. Which surprised me, actually. I've read Machiavelli, and while I find many of his observations to carry over to contemporary society, I don't endorse his amoral solutions to the problems that presents.

Depending on my state of mind regarding the human race at the moment I take the test, my score can go up and down. Today, it was 53.

I wasn't sure whether I should answer if I agreed these examples worked or whether I approved with their application in daily life. Sure deception works, that's why people do it. Do I choose to? No.
I came up with 53

The Machiavelli personality test has a range of 0-100

Your Machiavelli score is: 56

"low Mach", you reject Machiavelli's opinions.

Most people fall somewhere in the middle, but there's a significant minority at either extreme.
