I'd definitely be up for it, I only live a short distance from London, I'm planning on going to London on New Years Eve to watch the fireworks too.

Hmmm well I was thinking of possibly a day in January. It depends who's interested and when people are free I guess.

Ah u want someone to do all the work for you?

Well I've never organised anything like this before but I thought it might be worth it. If people are on facebook that would make it ten times easier than just using mobiles.

That's right. ;) I strongly advise using mobiles as people are late and all sorts on the day itself - nothing is ever straight forward, and if you move on while someone is still trying to get there - not good.

I think it would be too expensive for me to come unless I could find a cheap deal someplace.

Sounds good, I can add you on Facebook. Using a mobile or Facebook definitely sounds like a good idea in case people are delayed.

Ah I totally agree. It's just that with FB as so many people regularly check it I could set up an event on there so people are less likely to forget. Plus I'm check there regularly myself so if there are any problems before the day itself I'll find out. I will of course need to be using a mobile for the day itself.

They are generally very cheap but I think you need to book the ticket in advance.

Even cheaper if you book directly with the train operator.

Count me in. I'm free at any time.

@everyone who will attend the meeting: if you ever meet someone else I know in real life, please don't tell me about my condition, I don't tell people that I'm an aspie.

Ok, I guess Saturday would be the best and most convienient day for people. I guess the best thing to do is just set a date and a Facebook event, some people are bound to flake or not show on the day.

Saturday the 7th, 14th, 21st or 28th of January.
