So, what are some quotes from NTs that really seem to bug you?
For me, it would be:
Humans are Social Animals
I don't know why, but I absolutely hate hearing this quote. It just seems to really bug the crap out of me. What do you think?

Really hate this one!! ! "I call it like I see it."

So illogical. Most often there are far more facets to anything, or anyone, that any one person can ever see at a glance.

Yeh, 'Humans are social animals' does not make much sense either. Human are far more complex that just being 'social.'

Be that as it may, it is what it is.

When they talk about getting out of your "comfort zone".

Well, you'll just have to start thinking outside of the box!

I hate that one and it seems to indicate that they are always telling lies because they feel the need to announce that they are about to be honest about something.

"You're just not trying hard enough." Actually, I am trying quite hard, harder than most people who say this to me.

followed by

"You're doing it wrong." What they mean to say is "I only understand one way to do it, and regardless of whether or not it is best, you should do it that way too."

I find it strange when people wish each other good luck before playing a board game tournament match. I can't think of any interpretation that would be something I would want to say to my opponent.

-Do I think he needs luck to be able to defeat me? That seems a bit arrogant.
-It is not a game of chance anyway.
-Arguably there is still an element of luck, but if I am going to lose, I want it to happen because my opponent is more skilled, not lucky.

Oh gulp! WTH is wrong??? Help! Panic, here I come!

Any generalization about people that makes it sound like they are saying every one of 7+ billion people is 'x', or some other generalization that seems to accept evil.

Now, I understand what NTs *mean* by these things,a nd now realize why my brain takes those generalizations literally. They mean that *in general* such thing are true. But if you mean "in general," say "in general" or "almost always."

Wht I really hate is that I tend to talk like NTs if I hear something like that too often.

Oh, also "people can do anything they want." No, there are consequences to one's actions and those consequences can't be ignored. Now, often (again, trying to control my speech) what is meant is that people have freedom, but I have seen enough examples of people who say this as though they don't have to face the consequences that it tends to irk me.

Of course, with some things the consequences only impact oneself, but with other things, they impact others, too.

I thought of a different one when I first saw this post...I'm gonna say it anyway.
