Also, for those of you who have a Facebook and would like to be updated more often, Composer formed a group for meetups. Let me know your Facebook and I'll add you to it.

Yeah, both of these days seem OK so far. Sunday would be more safe for me, as I sometimes get called to work on Saturdays last-minute. I have no Facebook (it made me too anxious, so I shut it down completely), but I'll keep checking this thread.

Okay. Awesome.

And just read your post again. The only issue we have is that we have to be back to Michigan by Sunday. It seems Saturday is better for most of us. Let us know what you decide. Also, what time do they usually call you in at?

Well, I'll be able to make it for Saturday as long as there's no work. I usually know at least a week ahead of time, so I'll let you know if I won't be able to make it. Unless y'all want to tag along with me and a non-verbal autistic man on his routines, but I think it'll be too overwhelming for him to have a crowd following him around. :P

Hi everyone,

Sorry I haven't posted here in a while. Hope you're all doing well. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again and hopefully meeting some new people.

Does anyone from the area have suggestions where we could go that would not be overstimulating and would be enjoyable for everyone?

Thanks.

I think the suggestion of a park and coffee was mentioned earlier in the thread. Then maybe head for a coffee place nearby?

That would be better. Maybe Tim Horton's or Starbucks, or maybe a locally owned cafe? Can we find somewhere AWAY from the financial district? I might die from sensory overload.

We could also plan a movie and dinner later... Make it a whole day thing.

Perhaps dinner and a movie? Seeing movies alone feels really sad and there's a lot of good stuff showing right now.

Let's try to get this figured out by Thursday. We have to book a hotel. Let's plan multiple events. Your suggestions sound good. Let's plan those for later in the day. What do you guys think?

Sounds good. What movie do you want to see? We could look for where it is showing (at a theatre near the downtown area so you don't have to travel far?) and find a restaurant in the area.

So, we've had multiple people cancel. We are going to come to the next meet up whenever people have a free weekend. It's disappointing, but we'd rather it be the whole group.

Okay. I live in Toronto so I can come up to meet you guys easily, so I'll leave it up to the more distant folks to choose the date. I usually have more productive things to do, but if something is arranged, I'll pick and choose between what I want to do and then perhaps come out. I just need a certain time & date. So please let me know if something materializes. :)

Hello everyone,

It's been awhile since I checked the site and I was hoping to get involved in a meet up.
It looks like my timing is good. :)

Is anyone still getting together this weekend? Jan 5th or 6th?
I'm pretty sure I could get in to Toronto if anything is indeed going on.

Please let me know when and where.

Also I think I'd like to join the facebook page this group is involved with, and get to know people a bit.

Thanks!
