What kind of ways does social anxiety affect you

Completely takes away my ability to speak.

This is especially crippling, because I suffer from depression, and a couple of days ago tried asking for help.

I could not utter a single word.

i cant stand using the phone. sometimes i miss calls because im psyching myself up to answering it for too long.. and sometimes in certain groups of people, i end up all awkward and quiet and my brain just like shuts down..then 1 of them leaves and someone says something and all of a sudden im crazy talkative..i think that has something to do with unintentional intimidation..as in someone intimidates me without trying and idk whyy
