Chris, you have made a "faux pas" Yupa have been very kind to explain to you this and how to behave in the futur. I know some other comments were not very kind. But in this last post you accuse Yupa So, or you haven't understood what he said, or you are a troll. In both case i will not post anymore in this thread. Up to the other members to judge what is happening.

It's not defamatory unless it is untrue. Unfortunately what I said about you is true, I didn't send those pm's to myself, and they're still there.

"faux pas" is not the way I'd describe the actions of someone who pm's you threatening to have you banned, then pm's you asking if he can flirt with you, then sends a bunch of cybersex type posts, then calls you rude words when you say you don't like it and then says flirting is sick and evil and breaks up marriages. And that's just a superficial summary of the twistedness which runs even deeper.

I agree with the other people here - I got verbally abused by christopher M through PM for not accepting his advances - why should I? I never in any way indicated that I wanted a relationship with him. He was very rude and manipulative in his reply trying to make it look like I was the one that had teh problem.

My thoughts are the odds of you(any aspie on WP) making a love match with
another aspie on WP are so close to zero its not even funny. First the ratio of
men to women here is very high. Even worst the women hear are for less likely
to be single (most have a boyfriend, husband, between relationships or unlikely to
get in a romantic relationship with anyone). A man posting an ad for a women here
is like buying a lottery ticket. I'm not trashing you or anyone thats just the way it
is. If your truily lonely look localily at a church, school, online dating sites.

And this is where I draw a line and support christopher_m. They're called Private Messages for a reason. I know this is the internet and you can't expect privacy, but I cannot support private messages becoming public. As such, I will not read or respond to any PM posting that is done from this point in this topic. That is just my opinion on privacy. Take it or leave it, but don't expect it to change. Sorry for hijacking the topic for a few sentences.

I disagree. He loses the right to privacy when it becomes harrassment-- which he has now done to three women. All three of us have come forward to say he was abusive to us in private. He hides the ugly stuff in PMs for a reason-- he thinks we'll be too chicken to talk about it in public.

And anyway, the TOS (last I checked) warns us all that private messages are not really private. They can and will be read by anyone with access to the database. I invite anyone with access to the DB to read my PMs and see what christopher_m wrote to me. They're in my savebox.

Well the TOS has since been changed and does not now clearly indicate as it once did that PMs can be read by admins for security purposes.

So what's a girl to do on WP when she is getting nasty and abusive PMs? Is there a protocol in place where she can appeal to a higher authority?

It just says to tell a moderator so that they can keep him from sending PM's.
