TBH, I don't even know what the whole rat race in society is about.

If this is just another name for the corporate ladder where company CEOs are the top dogs and cubicle workers are the servants, then this doesn't concern me. I will never be working in such conditions. I will make sure of that.

If "getting ahead" means being popular, again I don't have a burning desire to be known by everyone at my college, although I do have a few precious good friends I can count on.

Maybe I'm getting too worked up about this. I've looked back at my OP yesterday and it sounds incredibly bitter and hateful. I must have been in one of those moods.

Not all rules are right, and breaking the ones that are wrong will not only make you seem powerful but attract support. Think MLK, Gandhi, etc.

Stand up for what's right even when it goes against the status quo.

Predators will attack prey which they believe they will be able to subdue with as little harm to themselves as possible.

The only time when the situation you describe would occur would be during a conflict over territory.

I would like to see them try and subdue me.

I've taken enough crap already.

I'm not going to participate in their game, but I sure as hell am not becoming their next victim.

well, i tried to be an a--hole at times, but i cannot do it, i just cant...

luckily, the alfa-males are usually fighting about the 10-20% of the women that score a 9+ on the desierability scale; and even some of those are not impressed by the alfamale behavior.
also; there is a saying; i dont know the correct english wording, but it's something like "if two dogs fight over a bone, a third one takes it home".
now i my case, usually the third dog is a slightly-less-alfa male, but i'm getting better at being the 3rd dog; i get closer every time i try...

I wish you success with your efforts as I believe you have the right idea. If my territory metaphor is correct, the amount of confrontations you have may be relative to your control or influence over people or items of value, such as transportation as an example of the latter.

Ohh crap, I don't know what the social rules are. Maybe that's why I get other Alpha males sizing up to me. My social stupidity\ignorance is seen as a power. Which makes me the bully. Alpha males are afraid of this here Aspie. Double crap!!

There is supposedly this alpha guy who gets the women and is cool, but it's never quite so smooth and linear as that.

Reading back through the post here I see the bully's would be nothing without the cowards that follow in behind them. I redo my post conclusion , I am not a bully, also I am not a coward. As above I would also live in a box before I would intentionally pressure someone against their wishes.
