I like walking and talking, and there are many sports that can make people special, I did climbing and it's an experience that has changed my life. But depends on each one.

Never heard of Sierra Club, but I am sure people there are more sensitive in some aspects than the normal alienized people.

Gotta run to class!

I am white England-born and my friend was white south african (=don't know if this makes a difference or not)

I have a friend who is British South African, and given a compliment she will put herself down quite a lot (by my standards). I don't know if that was just her or not though. When given a compliment, I usually say something like "Thanks, that's sweet of you," which I think can be read neutrally because I can never tell what's expected.

I have a lot of automatic social behaviors, especially on the phone when ending a conversation. My mom mentioned it a couple years ago, so I'm trying to change it, and at least now I will manage to end the phone conversation even if someone doesn't take "their turn" (not necessarily what other people would consider their turn, but in the script my brain had decided on). Sometimes I wonder if I have a bit of echolalia going on.
