I would have thought he'd be one Garlic of a typist. Or something.

It must be because you need to track them all.

Nah, I just keep looking at posts from each topic heading, but come back to this one because I'm interested in how other aspies handle social interaction and friendships (plus seeing who has added to my post of course). I'm also interested in how others deal with romantic interludes so I will be having a sticky beak at those next :D

Well, mummadisaster, you seem to have the necessary sense of humor to post here ! ! Welcome, and do be sure to check out the various forums. Random has a lot of garlic, but Love and Dating is very serious, as are some of the others. And, oh yes, you simply must find some sort of Aussie avatar ! !! Also a pic is always fun, as we all tend to hide behind these characters we create ! !! (Check out Bazzamckenzie's posts, he's Aussie.)

Hi Mumma. So is your son Corin? I'm guessing he is since he says he's 10 and you share the family name "Disaster."

Thanks Prof, I like to think I have adequate sense of humour to get through life (because life is like a huge joke at times)... I'm also very attracted to humour in others!

I will organise a decent avatar soon and maybe even get a pic on here at some stage.

Hi MrMark, that is very observant of you and I'm giggling here having images of both Corin and I actually sharing the surname "Disaster" lmao. Corin's school wouldn't be surprised and neither would anyone else who knows us both :P He has always considered himself a disaster, but in a fun way not necessarily a negative way! He has quite an advanced sense of humour for someone so young - toilet humour mostly, but he is a boy after all  Corin was raising havoc in the chat room earlier so I didn't leave him in there too long!! We had a great time though - was most enjoyable!

Do let him join in the humor on the Random Forum. It's quite the joker's paradise...

Thanks for the tip - haven't had a look in there yet but might do now before I go to bed (it's almost 2am here and I better get some sleep as I'm back on night shift from tomorrow night...)
