Someone else on here was talking about abusers can come in the form of people who appear to be our friends just to find out our flaws just to make fun of and spread things behind our backs. Now that I think about it that could be a form of emotional abuse.

Other ways people can emotionally abuse you

1. People who you like but don't really like you back but string you along and say they are our friends
2. People who say they are our friends but invite everyone else to things except you. Yet they don't include you. Rather they enjoy hinting to you a few days later that they are not interested by boasting about who they invited and what did together.
3. People who never seem to have time for us so everything else is more important. Yet they seem to run off with everyone else.
