I'm assuming that's a 'no'?

It might be good for you to explore other options where you can meet people with shared interests.

What work are you looking for? Does that require you to be able to drive?

EDIT - I see you have already answered these questions above. What's a Publix?

There are other places to socialize.

Try a club/program where you can meet like-minded individuals your own age. Like a book-club or something along those lines. I am currently going to something called the PEERS program, it is recommended for individuals with ADHD, Asperger's or high functioning autism.

Maybe you should try it. You may enjoy it and make new friends. There is a reasonable chance that some people in that program may want to meet friends as well.

Of course, do what you like. If you'd prefer to be friends with young girls, you could do that. I'm just trying to give you advice.

I've tried asking my mom to take me to those places before, since I don't have a driver's license, but she never does..... I've asked her over, and over, but she CONSTANTLY forgets, and breaks her promises.... I guess I'll just apply for a job at the Publix near my house...

Explain to her how important this is, if it is important for you. Or use a taxi.

The PEERS program is not a place, it's a program. I think you have to sign up.

Okay, I'll tell her how important it is... and Publix is a grocery store. It's within a walking distance of my house, and I just tried applying for a job just now, but they were asking for my social security number and I don't know what it is...

Okay, that all sounds good, find your number and crack on.

Do you have anything else close enough to walk or cycle to?

What are your other interests, apart from the ones you post about regularly.

There's a burger king and a marco's pizza within walking distance... my other interests are social sciences and humanities, and religion.

The grocery store sounds like the better bet to me.

Have you looked at anyway to become more involved in social and humanitarian issues locally?

Is there anything local that you could volunteer for?

I could do volunteer work for another mosque (besides my Turkish cultural center) or for the Turkish cultural center....

You might want to consider giving some of your time to help out at these places. Good luck with the job application.
