Ha, ha, I wish it were a matter of not wanting to offend you. I get the same from people who casually put me down all the time, but still know to skilfully avoid giving me any information I can actually use to improve myself. I think helping us is just about the last thing they could give the faintest trace of a crap about.

Why should people provide you with detailed feedback on what you're doing wrong?

Of course, people don't have to----but it would be nice.

I have no intention of reading all your 140 posts to gather the data needed to make a vague assumption on what sort of person you are. So I'll just make a wild stab in the dark and assume you're a complete loony, and probably a vicious commie too.

From my experience, people in general consider me somewhere between a nuisance and a nutcase. Devoid of contrary information I assume people want nothing to do with me.

Are you saying that other students have a "social reputation" and that talking with an unsocial being ruins it?

(Sorry if it sounded a bit mean)

I'm saying popularity suffers by mingling with less popular students. And I'm not the first to say so: Why Nerds are Unpopular.

when I was younger, especially in the army, I was thought of as "that socially ret*d guy" or "that weirdo" or "he gives me the creeps!" in middle age, a more common response would be "never heard of him!" or "who?"

People used to mock and make fun of me in high school. I had the aspie trait of staring at people back then. I used to wonder how people percieved me back then . Nowadays i dont worry about it as much. I 'm not around other people that often anymore .It could be because im a adult and more mature now.

I already have a pretty goid idea how people view me.

Analytic, arrogant, sarcastic, smart-mouth jerk with a tendency to show boat (in video games), and an instinctual knack for angering people without trying.

But that's my public personality, once i get to know someone they actually find i'm much less arrogant and a lot kinder than i seem to be on first impression.
