I don't find it sad

Also almost all of my friends have at least one interest in common with me. Often even the NTs have it (when talking to me) to autistic levels. That's a side effect of seeking friends out by interest rather than by proximity.

I haven't had a real life friend since '97. I have one good online friend I have known for more than a decade though. We chat every day.

Covid has made them all the better. 8)
