I LOVE rides and rollarcoasters, but I hate crowds and waiting in line. I've learned to tolerate the crowds and waiting for the payoff of the rides.

I, too, live in Orlando but I hate the bloody places. Except Sea World, which is one of the coolest places on Earth, and Universal's Islands of Adventure, which is just flat-out awesome. Unfortunately I can only take them in small doses because all of the people around annoy me to the point of not being able to enjoy myself. I'd like to hit the water parks but every time I drive by one, it's wall-to-wall people.

I love Disneyland. I would live there if I could. Other theme parks are meh. I absolutely love watching roller coasters, but I don't like riding the big ones.

I love Theme Parks,Fairs and Carnivals.
Whenever i here i am next going to one i am excited no matter how long the wait is till i am actually going and when i am on about this i am off to a Theme Park during my actual holiday in the summer and i already cannot wait.
I do not know how many others will have the same feeling as me on here about this subject though.

I'm an admitted theme park junkie myself & due to my aspergers have made it sort of my primary interest so I've studied up quite a bit on the various rides, manufacturer's, theme park chains etc.

Since I'm in the Washington DC/metro area there are two primary,or "home parks" that I visit during the summer season, they are Six flags america in Largo Maryland(I've been a season pass holder there since way back in 98 but the park hasn't added anything new in going on five years) & Kings Dominion in Doswell Virginia, which will be adding a new roller coaster(well new to the park as it's being relocated from another park in Ohio that the company closed this year) for the 2008 season.

I don't mind fairs too much, they tend to be small enough and spacious enough for me to handle. I don't like six flags.

I cannot stand the way Six Flags runs their queing system with what they call flashpass.Nowadays instead of assigning one group of two to a predetermined seat they'll put in a whole trainload of flashpassers on any given coaster in the park making the rest of us who are in the regular queue have to wait longer.

Six flags america announced their new for 2008 attraction today & once again I'm disappointed with them because instead of at least adding some sort of ride to the dry side of the park they go & add yet another stupid water slide to the waterpark instead.

It really upsets me when they've let the place go downhill over the last five years without adding anything new while they continue to give new attractions to their other parks almost every season.

Hate them.

Got dragged to Rainbow's End a year ago by my family when we were in Auckland. I persuaded my parents to get me a spectator pass because I wasn't going on any rides. I walked around a bit, really bored, frustrated about all the people and noise and squealing girls.
Eventually at one of the cafés in there I saw a poster saying a group called The Mad Hat Jazzers were going to be playing there that day. I stayed through their whole set (over an hour long) and it really helped me to get through it. They weren't loud and though they sounded just like all jazz students they were pretty good.

I've seen some half decent shows at some of the parks here but I much prefer the rides myself.

I love rides but I hate theme parks. I hate queueing for things and having to stand next to those wasp nest bins that they have at Alton Towers. I hate the sh***y food and the people everywhere too.

However, I love rollercoasters. I don't so much like the rides that just make you sick like the waltzers and the tea cups. I prefer ones that feel dangerous, but have lots of safety harnesses. :-)
