Create another account without using your full real name so as to avoid reconnecting with these people. Instead, search on Facebook for Pages or Groups of people you might have common interests with or even pages that are made specifically to be supportive.
I'm halfway to doing this as most of my Facebook activity is in a movie discussion page and nobody I know in real life posts there.
