When i'm bored(which is almost always) and im out walking about i play movies and funny TV show moments and other things in my head, and occasionally i will come to a point that i "forgot" or it becomes really funny again and i'll start laughing for no apparent reason. Then people ask me why and it is funny trying to explain it to them.

someone: "What's so funny?"

me: "I was just remembering an intro to the Critic, every show he the phone rings and someone tells him something depressing, so
*ring ring, he picks it up* Hey Jay! This is your inner child and i just robbed a liqour store! *approaching sirens*

This also happens to me especially at work, I start laughing at some funny idiosynchratic thought I have and I try real hard to contain myself. People sometimes look at me like I am insane.

I also sometimes laugh at innapropriate things. I remember a few years back when I was at an amusement park with my g/f at the time. We were sitting on the bench waiting to meet my mom, and I looked over and saw a lil girl throwing up. I just started laughing, I couldn;t help myself. My g/f was real angry about it cause she thought I was being rude and callous.

8O Oh, my g*d - I used to do this constantly as a kid (I still do it now, though I'm more able as an adult to stifle it if I have to). Even when I'd explain why I was seemingly laughing at nothing, it pissed my dad off to no end - he thought I was bonkers.

I tend to laugh for no reason while in class. Sometimes people ask "What's Funny" and the teacher usually asks if I'm alright. One of my teachers just yelled at me. The most recent one of these events I can remember is when in a special ed math class (Class where the kids are the trouble makers) and some girl was flipping her watch (One of those watches that are on a chaing) around. When I saw that I just started laughing uncontolably.

I've been having a lot of issues with people and their views of any brain disorder. I was in a bitchy mood and I Googled, I hate people. I came acrossed the Simple Hate Website, which sells T-Shirts and other types of merchandise. There were tonnes of items that said- I Hate People!- in bold, capital letters. I started laughing and I couldn't stop. Every time I think about these shirts and household items, I still laugh. Especially about the round ornament that comes with a festive red ribbon, so that you can hang it up. Replace the word people with the words, Most NTs, and than there would really be something. I don't hate all NTs, but most of them are up there. I really must get back into the Cockney Spirit. I never used to be a People Hater.

My tendencies echo a lot of what I see posted here. I too laugh at my inner thoughts but I'm better at suppressing that now than in my younger years. In social scenes, I'm now more inclined to "read" the people and what is being said or talked about. Too many time I've disgraced and embarrassed myself by laughing inappropriately or saying things I shouldn't say.

When I do get chatty, I'll be the first to tell you that my humour can be a bit dark, like the sorts of things you might see in Alice Cooper's lyrics

I had that happen a lot when I was a kid, especially when I was 12 and under a lot of stress after having to move and change schools.

Nobody including me understood why... but now I do!

I get nervous I laugh, there are other times I'll laugh at people getting hurt or such.

Yeah...when I'm watching my favorite shows, which are comedy, I scarcely laugh, usually looking really serious, and when someone asks if something's wrong, I say no, and they ask me if I'm enjoying the program, and I say, "Yes, it's hiliarious." I sometimes laugh for no reason, or apparantly no reason, as if I'm remembering an embarrassing event I generally burst into laughter to relieve the nervousness. It really didn't work out well when my mom came home from a depressing funeral while I was remembering something stupid I'd said in first grade.

You'd be an awesome teacher for me then, I respond best to the strict, disciplinarian teachers better than the lax types.

Then again who knows...

Anyways onto the topic at hand.
I tend to laugh at things I see and hear when I'm just out and about, but luckily I don't laugh out loud much, especially in public.
Though, at the cinemas, or movies in general, I find myself laughing at something on screen that no one else laughed at, and vice versa. Which can be perplexing at times...

I'm a terrible person to see movies with, I always make comments to the people I came with, like when I saw The Fellowship Of The Ring, and Gollum's head (what you could see of it) was first shown, I couldn't resist but to say to my gaming friend, "It's Abe!" (is in from Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee)

Yep, I'm the same way... if something seems even slightly absurd to me, I'll just end up in a fit of laughter.

Even worse, though, is what synchro mentioned earlier: when you have a random amusing thought come into your head during a really serious moment, and you just can't help but laugh at what you were thinking of, but nobody realizes that you're only laughing at your own private thoughts... yeah, that's frustrating, and I can say that from many personal experiences.

I always have internal dialogue going on and music, etc. Sometimes I will laugh out loud when a previous conversation comes to mind or when something happens to trigger a humorous response from the internal dialogue. I even have songs that come to mind at the most innapropriate times that triggers laughter (example: "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen comes to mind at the worst possible time such as when someone talks about an elderly aunt or uncles death. When someone is B@$&hing about something I'm doing, I will think of Tom Petty's "Won't Back Down." and have to bite my tongue so that I won't grin or chuckle defiantly.)

I also laugh when I accidently hurt myself. For some reason, it's very unnerving to NT's to see someone laughing when blood is flowing out of that person's body. I suppose it's a reflex thing.
