I can sense the future.....The kid is smart---yet he has the sincerity of his dad. He will go places.

And remember: Forrest Gump became rich because of his sincerity. And because he was always in the "right place at the right time."

He wanted to hang out with his best friend in the Army----so they both bought the shrimp boat. Gump did quite a bit of the work, and he had his trials---but, ultimately, he became rich because he was smart enough to hang out with his friend from the Army.

Lieutenant Dan was an ass to Forrest----but he learned the true substance of the man eventually.

Bubba's family became rich, too. Because of Forrest.

I mean....I wish I was Forrest.

I would have been sad because Jenny didn't like me "that way." But I would have had faith that Jenny would come around eventually. She did "come around," in a sense, and she knew she wanted Forrest's child (and no one else's).

If Jenny stayed alive, they would have had a great marriage.

He had that love for Jenny.....which was totally transcendent.

Even when Jenny wandered off and did her thing, Forrest never lost that love.

That's because Jenny befriended him when he was a child.....and she was pretty, too.

When I used to run, and people would mock me by saying "run, Forrest, run," I would absolutely glow inside.

I'd be proud to represent Forrest.

"I am not a smart man.....but I know what LOVE is."

Yes, Jenny did love Forrest----but she was a woman of the world, and she wanted to experienced the sensuality of it.

I am a simple man like Forrest---and I'm proud of it.

Yeah. That's fair. She had personal demons.

Forrest saved her from them, in a sense.

He did have the house destroyed once the abusive dad died.

Forrest had his limitations----but they couldn't be helped.
