Yes even aspies can avoid being honest because they just run and not tell you. It's obvious she doesn't want you. Some people can't be direct because they don't want to hurt your feelings so they just stop responding to your emails and PMs.

I wasn't even talking about a relationship here. She blocked me from IM, and stopped replying to my e-mails, without any explanation, and I am certain I did nothing to hurt or offend her, at least not intentionally.

Take this experience as one lesson to be learned. Mirror your friend. Stop communicating
and tuck her in one compartment of your mind that says "It was nice knowing you for a while..have a good life".

I keep convincing myself it was my fault, even though it very likely wasn't.
