Yeah, last year was bizarre. Vancouver only got one day of snow all winter, in mid-December, and it melted pretty quickly. Figures we'd have a freakishly warm winter for the Winter Olympics. :P


Aaaand... looks like we're compensating for last year's virtually snowless winter by starting early this year! First snow of the season is on the ground in Vancouver. =D

I hope this isn't one of those winters where it doesn't let up for 4 months... >_>

we just got some snow here today in Washington state too :) .
not alot though, and it didn't really stick.

This is almost certainly true.

I mainly miss having everything I need within walking distance, or at least walking distance to mass transit.
