I live on Bainbridge Island, formerly Seattle with a little time in Lake Stevens and Bellevue. I also co-host a monthly AS meetup in Seattle, the Seattle Square Peg Social Club (http://www.meetup.com/Squarepegs/), which seems like the kind of thing many in this thread are interested in (I also see some familiar faces). I'll have been doing meetings for 3 years this April, and I have to say that being in a room full of Aspies is quite an experience, in our case it's like a sci-fi convention with better food and beer... We're actually in the middle of expanding into the south end with a meeting in Des Moines, and trying to find people to branch out in other directions as well. We've got people driving in from Olympia and sometimes further, so there's definitely a need that's not being met out there.
