Houston? San Marcos is closer to Austin and San Antonio. I live near it. Is there others who live in this area? Have there been meetups out here?

There's probably skiing there too. It gets pretty decent snowfall. The Gauley and New Rivers run through there, and there's also hiking, horseback riding, ATVs, rock climbing, camping, etc.

I am living in Houston during the summers. The school I will be attending is in San Marcos.

Haven't met anyone at Texas State (formerly Southwest Texas State) yet. I previously went to a school in Wichita Falls (Midwestern State), and the nearest Aspies were in Fort Worth.

I won't be moving to San Marcos until late August.

I saw one of them doing too well in social situations.

A few us of are planning a Bay Area and Northern California WP meet-up.

The date we have in mind is June 7th.

We are discussing going to the train museum in Petaluma, but we are open to any other suggestions.

BTW EvilKimEvil when you do get around to visiting the De Young Museum you will find a really big drum from New Guinea there, it looks like it could transmit sound for a very long way with favorable conditions.

As far as PMing other members in the Bay Area I can think of one I could try, he and I PMed at the same time that you and I did about Dr.L.D., so it would not be without precedence for me to communicate that way with him. I can't think of any others at this time, but will try to keep it in mind. If you are comfortable doing so, then I don't see any harm in sending a PM to someone that they can choose to reply to or not. I will send a PM to the one individual tonight to reply if interested. As far as creeping someone out, I don't believe a polite invitation will do so. Anyway I'll get the PM done and shut off my computer since I could barely get up in time for work this morning after the long weekend, talk to you and wsmac tomorrow.
