I am finding this poll, very ironic.

Many have said that there is no option for them and I agree.
One of the main reason, it seems, that many have showed up here, is the lack of social 'status' involving other people.
How is an option like that not on this?

I have very few friends in real life. I've got two down in Kerry but up here in Dublin I only have my cousin and an old school friend that I haven't seen in two years. I don't have a girlfriend either and never have.

The poll is not sufficiently comprehensive. Why isn't there an option for "no friends and not dating"?

I have a few good friends, some aquaintances,and a boyfriend.

I only have two friends who I consider to be true friends, and both are on the internet. One has some sort of muscular disease and is in his 30's so he probably won't be around forever.

I've had other buddy relationships with people in High School and on the internet, but they never lasted more then a year. I'm great at making first impressions with them, but after awhile they either just get bored or decide they can't take my quirks. I hate that they can never be direct with me though, they just look for an execuse to break off our friendship and make me feel like the badguy so they can walk away with their heads held high.

I've gotten to where I stop trying to look for friends anymore.

how about 1 real friend and he is also an aspie-have acquaintances and co workers but thats it 1 true friend-had another friend who was more like my brother than my real brother and his neighbor ruined that with his innuendos and questions-31 years of friendship or what I thought was friendship gone.

I have 1 very close friend, 2 other closed friends, 4 other friends and a lot of acquaintances-friends. They are all NT's. Being an Aspie, I consider myself blessed.

I have less success with men. I only had one boyfriend and it was 5 years ago.

I have only 4 friends living near me and none are close. Over the internet I've one close friend and no..."unclose friends"? I'm quite happy with that however and although I'd appreciate a close friend that I know, I'm not too bothered with it.
