Ah I guess that is an adaptive strategy when it comes to direct action. I've never heard of mute civil disobedience, no pun intended

Indeed it is. Failing a catostrophic snow fall in hertfordshire (which there has not been so far, nor is one forecasted) I intend to press head with the meetup on saturday.

I would advise people coming from Kent or Surrey way to check with the transport they are using to get to London if it is safe for them to do given the conditions down there at the moment.

I've currently got a chill but im planning on an early night, which usually cures such short term spells of illness.

In the event I have to cancel for whatever reason I will announce on here tomorrow so please check the thread tomorrow evening for confirmation or cancellation.

looks like waterstones will be a safe 1.5km away from the action. i might drift over that way at some point, check it out.

Laz - re: chill. start chewing raw garlic now. IMO a lemon/lime or 2 per day goes a long way too (strong alkalizers)

I've recovered. Twas a lack of sleep most likely caused my illness yesterday. I get through at least 3 bulbs worth of garlic a week...keeps the vampire's and those with over sensative noses out of my face

I snack on limes like no tomorrow

I'm a bastion of immunity when it comes to winter ailments 8)

Sure thing. Your english may be better then my polish though. Plus where we meet is right next to piccadilly circus so its not hard to find so long as you know how to get to piccadilly circus.

Just to reiterate. It's going to be quite treacherous out there tomorrow. Good chance of snow and ice disrupting public transport and what not. There will be other meetups in the future so don't put yourself at unnneccesary risk to travel into london tomorrow.

If you do n end up dying or getting maimed, well thats your own fault you silly plumb :P

I don't think I'll be able to come tomorrow because of the weather.

Lazphobia is a common condition 8)

But don't worry there will be more in the new year I imagine. Either myself or lotusblossom will organise them, though I imagine she's not in the mood right now so it will probably be me for the forseeable future

Also there isn't always going to be tons of snow and ice everywhere on the day either.

If you or Kath is organising the next one, I'll turn up. Blame the weather. :S

We got Laibach to look forward to anyway. I think Smudge's bloke is tagging along as well.

Aye I didn't expect a big turnout due to the english irrational fear of snow. But was cool to catch up with psych

I'm just posting this message from my blackberry in islington so hopefully jan 14th will be snow free and you anti social w*kers who didn't show up this time make the effort (joke)

I also let the local asperger groups In london know about these meetups so you may have people turn up who don't post on wrong planet but are local to london in future

Will leave u to post details of next meetup lotusblossom bye for nowa
