My profile is a job in progress at the moment. Feel free to add me but PM me via here as well so I know which WP members are on my friends list.
I'll explain my nickname later :P .

Have you been round my house recently? Cause your favourite bands and movies look like the majority of my media collection.

PS cog rule. :D

In Cog we both trust 8)
Even Cog has a Myspace. I found a Myspace for Maynard James Keenan last night :)

well, i'm sure the artists have nothing to do with their myspace profiles. its just fans making them.

big bands aren't even allowed a myspace music profile, as I've read in the rules.

to be exact, it said that "fan-pages aren't allowed." i don't really think those big bands care about myspace

not to burst your bubble or anything.

Actually, I personally know people in a couple of the bands that I have friended, and I know for a fact it is their own page.

myspace is just one of those things that has different meanings for different people.
As for me, I use it to get back in contact with old friends I haven't seen in a while.

You can set it so that bands can't even try adding you.

Yeah, most of them are fan-based. Usually the official ones have something like, "The OFFICIAL so and so profile." A lot of the fan ones also have the songs availible for download, which usually isn't the case for most bands. Some small bands do have this feature, though.

I didn't care for myspace personally. Too many rude guys sending me borderline pornagraphic emails hitting on me, and when you block one, there are 50 more. So, it wasn't my cup of tea. My brother though practically lives on it, so I guess it is different for everybody. :)

Yeah most people who try to add you are musicians who want you to listen and buy their stuff, ot with guys, a lot of guys who collect these provocative women profiles.
I have my favorite bands as my friends and my small group of people from high school who added me. But I think less is more with myspace friends.

MYSPACE -- I have one. I don't have tons of friends, but I don't actually try and make it a "collection" item. My friends are mostly people I actually know. Some are friends from school, two of my family members, a few friends from LiveJournal (see below), and official pages of a few people I look up to -- Christian actor/writer Stephen Baldwin, Christian music artists Toby Mac and Todd Agnew. "AverageBoy" is a fiction hero in a Christian kids' magazine, written by comedian Bob Smiley whom I do know personally.

LIVEJOURNAL -- is where I post my "blog" stuff, instead of MySpace. I have a lot more control over who can read what I put there, and I've had it a lot longer.

To add me on either of them, my name is jesusrock7.

MySpace is for pedophiles and whiny teenagers who have sex with them.

I've rediscovered the love of the writing process. Since MySpace was there, I decided to give it a spin. I've never been one to keep a diary but being able to get things out of my head really helps a ton.

I use it once in a while (change the song about once a month) but it's not really served any purpose to me. It's more of a pointer to my website.

My LiveJournal is significantly more active, though most things of a 'personal' nature are friends-only:
