Edited down to one =/......

facebook....(though I thought myspace was cool for awhile because you could make your page look how ever you want and you could type in any word into the search and find something cool sounding to put on your page)

The phones bother people here, but they don't bother me. I have kind of OCD obsession with loosing my phone/having an emergency where I need to contact someone and not having a phone. Payphones don't like me very much, so I can't use a payphone.

Anyway, things that bother me about modern culture. Celebrities who are famous, just for being famous.

The overwhelming noisiness of modern society. It permeates everything...loud motorcycles, sirens, booming bass, ring tones playing, endless chatter of people on phones nearly everywhere one goes, clattering skateboards, jack hammers, loud diesel engines, barking dogs, etc etc etc. Sometimes, I wish I were profoundly deaf.

Crappy music. Don't get me wrong, there are some good contemporary musicians out there (Avril Lavigne, Pink, Taylor Swift, and Evanescence), but for the most part I'd rather listen to good old classic rock.

I know what you mean. Classic Rock and Oldies are a lot better than today's genres.

People who complain about modern culture and want to be sent back to the "old days."

One thing I love (no sarcasm intended), how people manage to turn things on their heads.

I wasn't making references about how the old days were better. I was referring to what we see day to day in general. I will admit I'd love to time travel to see what the earlier decades were like.

Oh, and your post just made my day :D

Texting, and how people are addicted to it.

That being said, I am addicted to the internet, but I've seen people who are good at socializing let it go to waste because they like their phones too much. Wheres I was never that great at it to begin with.

I hate how people are addicted to texting too...I don't really see a point to talking to people all the time anyway. When I'm occupied with something, I hate being disturbed by a text...I only respond when I'm outside of the house, and even then, I have to program myself into socialization mode. Doesn't anyone just enjoy time by themselves anymore?

And I hate blackberries! Those tiny keypads hurt my fingers. And why the heck do you need internet on your phone when you can just be patient and access it at home? I also get annoyed with people who complain about phone bills or not having enough money when they have all the latest technological stuff and and iphone and an ipad and an imicrowave which will all be outdated in three months anyway, so they will waste money trying to get the latest edition. Most of my neurotypical friends are like that, and I will NEVER understand it.

My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Crippling insecurity.

So try to convince girls to suck their "manhood" in attempt to boost their self-esteem?

Partially so, yes.

I don't like how common R&B and rap music is.

being completely out of touch with the natural cycles in life created by nature.
lack of solitude
computers that are smarter than me
fashion that changes every season...what ever happened to the days when a fashion tend lasted about 100 years.
the disaperence of self reliance
one of my biggest issue with modern culture is how pop culture swallows indigenous cultures in a generation or two...ancient arts forever lost.
comercials that are crazy, stupid, anoying and pointless all screaming at me on tv, on the radio, on the bilboard, in magizines, hell they would scream bile all over people's houses if it was legal
folks no longer knowing how to make bread by scratch when it costs 29 cents a loaf to make by scratch when you divide how many loaves you can make by the cost of materials, and the fact that most bread in stores cost 3.50-4.00 a loaf.
GMO's
inflation due to a paper money economy

all and all, I think I was born 150 years too late.
